His true identity was that of a spy Doflamingo had planted in Marine Headquarters.
Today was the day he returned to Dressrosa to report in.
Doflamingo smiled. "Fuffuffuffu! Long time no see, Vergo!"
"So, what have the Marines been up to lately?"
Vergo found a place to sit and crossed his legs. "Aside from sending a force to the Pudora Kingdom, they haven't made any other moves."
"But I know Marine Headquarters held a secret meeting today."
"I don't know what they discussed, though."
Because the Marine G-5 base was stationed elsewhere and Vergo was posted away from headquarters, he had not been permitted to attend.
That meant Vergo had missed two high-level meetings at Marine Headquarters in a row.
Still, once a meeting ended, he could always find a way to learn exactly what had been discussed.
He casually lit a Cigarette and exhaled a puff of smoke. "Don't worry. I've already contacted someone else."
"I should have the details of this meeting within the next couple of days."
Doflamingo laughed. "Fuffuffuffu!"
"That old man Sengoku probably suspects you."
"Try to be careful from now on!"
Vergo nodded and smiled dismissively. "Suspicion is all he has. I won't give him anything he can use against me."
"And does he think moving me away from headquarters will stop me from getting what we want?"

Trebol chuckled and said slowly, "We've already learned quite a few of the Marines' real secrets."
"As long as they don't interfere with our business, what they want to do is none of our concern."
Diamante flashed a broad, toothy grin. "Our Underworld business has been running smoothly lately."
"The Marines haven't caused us any trouble, either!"
"The situation in the Pudora Kingdom seems to have drawn all their attention."
