"I swear I'll kill you. I will!"
Gamenio burst into manic laughter. "Still don't get it, Boa Hancock?"
"If I hadn't been holding back, you'd be lying on the ground. You wouldn't be standing there talking to me."
"If you were a man, you'd have died hundreds of times already. Believe me?"
Gamenio looked Hancock up and down and clicked his tongue. "You're too beautiful. I can't bring myself to hurt you."
"I wouldn't allow a woman as stunning as you to suffer even the slightest injury."
"Boa Hancock, come with me. I swear I'll treat you well. From now on, I'll do whatever you say."
"A woman like you is worth giving up everything for!"
Hancock's delicate brows drew together as she searched for a way to beat him.
She kept saying she would kill Gamenio, but she knew those were empty words.
She simply couldn't do it!
This Lizard Man was too strong. She was no match for him.
Hancock regretted it now. Shame washed over her.
She had left Amazon Lily full of confidence, declaring she would shake the seas and make everyone recognize her strength.
Yet she hadn't even reached the New World before meeting an opponent she couldn't defeat.
It stung.
Her proud heart, which had always refused to bow, finally came back down to earth.
She admitted it: she had been wrong all along...
"Well? Made up your mind?"
Gamenio savored the sight of Hancock and laughed. "Take your time. I've got plenty of it. Hiss, hiss."
"You know, Boa Hancock, I used to sail with Whitebeard. I followed him all over the world."
"I've seen more women than I can count. There isn't a kind of beauty I haven't seen."
"But a woman as beautiful as you? This is a first. I've never met anyone like you."
Gamenio studied her closely, his eyes hungry as he appraised her.
"Such silky hair, such captivating eyes, such fair skin..."
"You're beautiful. I don't even know what to say. You're perfect. I can't find a single flaw."
"God... How can a woman this flawless exist? I'm mad about you, Boa Hancock!"
The warriors of Amazon Lily bristled at Gamenio's brazen words.
"Let's go help! Even if we have to fight to the death!"
"Exactly! Amazon Lily's warriors have never been afraid to die."
"Lady Sandersonia, Lady Marigold, let us attack! We'll defend the Snake Princess with our lives!"
"When I chose to follow the Snake Princess to sea, I accepted that I might die. We have to protect her, no matter what!"
"Let us fight! Please, let us help the Snake Princess!"
Marigold fell silent, weighing their options with a troubled expression.
Sandersonia had no such hesitation. "Stop talking nonsense! Do you hear me?"
"You're all people of Amazon Lily. How could we stand by and watch you die?"
"We sailed out together, and we'll return together. Everyone must get home safely. No one is throwing her life away."
Kalana frowned with worry. "But we can't keep this up. We have no idea when Lord Chris will arrive."
"Even if we stall, there's a limit. That bastard won't wait forever."
Sure enough, Gamenio had finished admiring Hancock and making his appraisal.
"Well? Still haven't decided?"
Gamenio shrugged and laughed. "Boa Hancock, strength rules this world!"
"I'm this powerful. What's there to think about? Be my woman."
"I may adore you and want to spoil you, but my patience has limits."
He stared at Hancock with the grin of a hungry wolf.
"If you still refuse, I'll have to take you by force."
"You might get hurt. I don't want that, but you'll leave me no choice."
Hancock's brows remained tightly knit.
She had considered one plan after another, only to reject them all.
The bastard before her seemed invincible. No matter what she did, she couldn't beat him.
"Marigold, Sandersonia, take everyone and leave. Now."
Hancock turned toward the warriors of Amazon Lily, her face grave as she gave the order.
They understood at once. Hancock meant to fight to the end.
She was going to risk her life!
"No, Sister! We'll fight with you. If we die, we die together."
Marigold looked at Hancock, her voice firm despite her alarm.
Sandersonia glared at Gamenio. "Even if it kills us, we won't leave."
"That's right, Snake Princess! Please let us fight beside you!"
The warriors of Amazon Lily shouted as one. Not a single one feared death.
Hancock was about to speak when Gamenio cut in.
"Are you all trying to get yourselves killed?"
He eyed them coldly, contempt written across his face. "I could finish the lot of you in minutes. What a bunch of trash."
Then an idea struck him.
Gamenio looked at Hancock and gave a cruel little laugh.
"Boa Hancock, I know how to make you submit. What you just said gave away your weakness. Hahaha..."
"If I get my hands on your people, will you still dare refuse?"
He smiled viciously at Hancock. "I'll ask you one more time. Will you be my woman?"
"If I don't like your answer, I'll kill them on the spot."
"One by one!"
Fury surged through Hancock. She kicked off the ground and shot toward Gamenio like an arrow.
"You dare threaten me? Die!"
"Perfume Femur!"
Her high-heeled right leg swept viciously toward his head.
The force of it made the air tremble.
"Too slow. Against me, your speed isn't nearly enough."
Gamenio had found a better way to fight. Rather than meet Hancock's attack, he leaped clear.
He shot her a cold look and bared his teeth. "Good. Very good. You've used up the last of my patience."
"Then I'll give you a little punishment and show you what that means."
He clenched his right fist. His biceps bulged as he drew his arm back to swing.
A pale white halo appeared around his fist.
It shimmered in the sunlight, charged with a mysterious power.
"Run..."
Hancock's pupils contracted. She spun toward her people and shouted.
She always acted as though she stood above them and cared nothing for them.
But it had all been an act. She felt nothing of the sort.
Now her beautiful face was tight with fear for them.
"Find cover, quickly!"
At her warning, the warriors of Amazon Lily turned to flee.
"Too late! Hahaha..."
"I'll show you my greatest power. Tremor!"
Gamenio roared and punched the air, his eyes fixed on the fleeing women.
Boom!
With an explosive crack, countless white fractures appeared in the air and spread outward.
Rumble!
The ground split. The air shook violently. Trees toppled and flowers were crushed as the force surged toward Hancock's people.
"Aaaah!"
Screams rang out. Every warrior fell to the ground.
But apart from looking battered and disheveled, none of them was hurt.
"See how strong I am, Boa Hancock?"
Gamenio gave her a cold smile. "That was your first warning. If you still refuse, too bad."
"Next time, I won't hold back. I'll kill them one by one."
"Is everyone all right? Is anyone hurt?"
Hancock flashed across the distance and appeared before her people.
The ground had been torn apart. Cracks ran everywhere, trees lay fallen, and flowers had been snapped. Devastation stretched as far as she could see.
It looked like a ruin.
"Sister..."
Sandersonia and Marigold called out as Hancock reached them.
"We're all right, Snake Princess!"
The women rose one by one, covered in dust and looking worse for wear.
Kalana looked at Hancock, her expression solemn. "Snake Princess, please run!"
