Background / History

Before meeting Chris, Hancock ruled Amazon Lily as its queen and served as a Shichibukai. She had become accustomed to the safety of the Calm Belt and rarely faced opponents capable of forcing her to improve. Her past as a slave of the Celestial Dragons remained a source of deep fear, despite the cold and domineering persona she presented to others. 18 19 20

Chris reached Hancock’s private bathing area through his Repulsion Space technique and proposed a Seven Warlords Alliance. His intrusion exposed her body and the slave mark she guarded as a secret, provoking her murderous anger. When Chris openly discussed overthrowing and killing the Celestial Dragons, Hancock initially reacted with terror because of her traumatic past. 18 19
