The soldiers of the Pudora Kingdom fired their guns, loosed arrows, and attacked with blades in a frenzy.
They threw every weapon they had at him.
Several squad captains watched the onslaught and laughed.
One of them sneered. "Let's see what he can do now."
"With attacks coming from every direction, how can he dodge?"
But in the next instant, his expression changed drastically.
Giant Morley vanished from the battlefield, then appeared right in front of the squad captains.
Expressionless, Giant Morley looked down at them coldly.
"Is that all you've got?" he said without a trace of emotion.
"It's useless!"
With that, Giant Morley swung the massive fork in his hand and sent the squad captains flying.
Across the battlefield, the soldiers of the Pudora Kingdom stared in shock.
"When did he get over there?"
"How can he be that fast?"
One soldier's eyes widened in disbelief.
He had been the closest person to Giant Morley.
A moment ago, Giant Morley had been right in front of him.
Yet in the blink of an eye, Giant Morley had moved all the way over there!
Another soldier clicked his tongue and muttered, "Is he really a Giant?"
"Aren't they supposed to be slow?"

In most people's minds, Giants fit a familiar mold.
They were enormous and terrifyingly strong, but relatively slow.
That slowness did not pose much of a problem for Giants, though.
Their bodies were tough. Even if their lack of speed let an enemy land a hit or two, they could take it.
Such blows would not hurt them too badly.
Other races, on the other hand, could hardly withstand a single strike from a Giant!
But Giant Morley had overturned everything the soldiers of the Pudora Kingdom thought they knew.
Giant Morley was incredibly fast!
