Farul bobbed his head and neighed, then hurried off to watch the fight from a distance.

Cavendish turned to Smoker and pointed at him. "Smoker, I'll ask one last time. Has Chris been captured or not?"

"If you won't answer, I won't go easy on you!"

Smoker exhaled a cloud of smoke, his gaze turning cold. "Kid, don't get so full of yourself."

"If you want the answer, go look for it inside Impel Down!"

He kicked off the ground and shot forward, Jitte raised in his right hand as he charged straight at Cavendish.

He came on like a tiger descending the mountain, fierce enough to shake the forest with its roar.

"Damn it! You're attacking just because you don't like what I said?"

Cavendish drew Durandal and sprang forward too, thrusting its tip toward the Jitte.

"Beautiful Sword—Bluebird!"

His blade shot out so fast that the air around it trembled, whipping up a powerful current.

Sword Energy rippled and crisscrossed as it surged toward Smoker.

Tashigi's eyes lit up at Cavendish's sharp attack. Shock spread across her lovely face.

"I thought his sword was just for show."

"I never expected him to be so skilled with it. He's incredible."

Tashigi shook her head, her expression resolute. "A swordsman this strong is far too dangerous. We can't let him escape."

"We have to send him to Impel Down and lock him up for life."

Smoker narrowed his eyes. Unbothered by the Sword Energy sweeping toward him, he held his cigar between his teeth and spoke coldly.

"Not bad with a sword, kid. Too bad you ran into me!"

The moment he finished speaking, the powerful current carrying the Sword Energy slashed into him.

Boom! Smoker's body split apart, turning into a mass of white smoke that engulfed the area.
