Quite a few readers suggested changing them, but after careful consideration, I decided not to. They were part of the promise I made, after all.

There will also be bonus chapters based on subscriptions.

This book currently has around 25,000 bookmarks. When I asked my editor, Naipeng, about its active readership on Monday, the figure was 2,500.

I still have a tiny bit of ambition...

So, starting from 2,000 first-day subscriptions, I'll add one chapter for every additional 100!

After launch, I'll also add one chapter for every 100 increase in average subscriptions! That rule will remain in effect permanently!

In other words.

If first-day subscriptions reach 2,500, the extra 500 plus the cumulative 2,500 will mean I owe 30 chapters.

Of course, that's just a little dream of mine...

Once the book launches, I'll keep updating at a minimum of three chapters a day.
