"Metropolis doesn't welcome masked vigilantes, Batman," Superman warned as he stood up.
Crunch, crunch...
"Is that so?" Batman sneered.
Crunch, crunch...
"Could you stop eating?" Batman turned to Roland, who was holding a bucket of popcorn, munching away as he watched the show.
"Carry on. Don't mind me." Roland shrugged. "Batman, still got enough kryptonite stockpiled?"
"Hmph..." Batman stopped, and Superman looked away in irritation as well.

Superman's phone rang just then. He stepped aside to answer it, and Lois's voice came through the line.
"I'm taking tomorrow off, so keep an eye on things at the paper for me... Yes, I'm going on a date with Bruce..."
Superman hung up with a gloomy expression and shot Batman a vicious glare.
Batman gave him a provocative smile, and the tension between them grew even sharper.
Superman flew away with the still-unconscious Kara on his back, while Batman summoned the Batcycle and sped off.
"Shame they didn't fight." Roland sighed. "Come on, let's get a late-night snack."
"Let's go!"
Early the next morning, Bruce headed out on his date with Lois on his arm. The handsome couple drew countless admiring looks on the street, and the paper rushed out a report on them.
"Looks like this is today's news." Roland shrugged. He was at the Zoo, but even here, he could watch a live broadcast of Bruce. "Why are they showing this at the Zoo? I'd rather watch 'Spring has arrived, nature has awakened, and once again, the animals' breeding season is upon us.
