Background and History
Lamore serves in a four-person adventuring squad with Kana, Yanxi, and Dean. During their early quests, he protects Yanxi with support magic and watches for threats while the others fight 1 20. The squad is promoted from a Junior Adventurer Team to an official First-Rank Adventurer squad after its Goblin-clearing mission 23.
His mentor is Silianth, the Third-Rank Priest of Blue Town’s Temple. Lamore had been unable to advance for three years and had failed once to form a magic vortex before joining Kana’s squad. After the Goblin Crisis, he receives a potion that improves his chance of forming one, but his advancement is not shown 41 46.
Appearance
Lamore is a tall, handsome Half-Elf who takes particular care with his appearance 17 37.
- He is nearly two meters tall and wears priest’s robes 33 37.
- His long, silky hair is described as emerald or blue-green; he combs it daily 1 17 33.
Personality
Lamore is composed when mediating between teammates and cautious when danger approaches. He notices the adult Slime trying to escape with the party’s target, identifies a clue to the Goblins’ whereabouts, and routinely keeps escape routes in mind 1 20 30. He is also vain and mildly fastidious, fussing over his hair and picking debris from his clothes even during a quest 17 18.
His caution does not prevent him from standing by the team: he challenges an unfair threat to their guild reputation and encourages Kana when she doubts what they have accomplished 24 25. When Silianth presses Dean to surrender Doge for study, Lamore stays silent rather than use their friendship to influence a decision he cannot confidently judge as right 42 43.
