Background / History

Kei endured three years of bullying throughout middle school. During the worst incident, several girls restrained her while another attacked her with a box cutter, leaving a scar on her abdomen and severe psychological trauma 44. Attempts to resist, report the abuse, and seek help from adults failed, and some people blamed her for being targeted 44.

At Advanced Nurturing High School, Kei created a fashionable gyaru persona and began building a small social circle. Beneath that confident exterior, she remained afraid of rejection and reluctant to oppose her new friends, particularly when doing so might cause her to be excluded 5.
