Humilau City was a seaside town in northeastern Unova. Its buildings seemed to float among the waves, giving it the look of a resort spread across a chain of islands. Its design was said to draw inspiration from the Alola Region.
As the only major city near Giant Chasm, it was where the International Police brought Mingyou and the others. The Pokémon at the scene would also be brought there for treatment later.
The Genesect were another matter. The International Police had yet to decide what to do with these modified Pokémon, so for now, they could only use special devices to immobilize them.
Miraidon's Cyclizar disguise had worked perfectly. So far, none of the police, not even Looker, knew it was the mysterious purple Legendary Pokémon that had fought Zekrom the night before.
The investigation continued into the afternoon. Mingyou said nothing about Meloetta. Long ago, Doduo had told him that both Team Rocket and the International Police had people planted inside the other organization. Better to play it safe.
He only told them that he had a financial dispute with Team Rocket and had made enemies of them. Doduo could confirm it; after all, Doduo had handled the case when the Manor was bombed.
As for Team Plasma, N and Colress could both confirm that Mingyou had nothing to do with them. He had simply been unlucky enough to get caught up in it.
Looker hadn't told anyone else about Ogerpon's Dynamaxing, nor had he asked how it had happened. Everyone had their own secrets, and it had nothing to do with the case, so he'd left it alone...
With that, Mingyou was released, though International Police officers were still watching him. He couldn't be bothered to care. Losing them would be easy.
