Calyrex went down to a single bite from Miraidon. Unable to battle, he was recalled into his Luxury Ball by Mingyou.
"Miller!"
Let me have one more bite! Just one!
Miraidon hadn't had enough. He wanted to bite Calyrex's head again, but Mingyou stopped him.
"You can't eat that! It'll make you stupid!"
"Miller..."
"Neru?"
The commotion had drawn everyone's attention to Miraidon. His purple metallic body instantly reminded them of the Easter egg at the Video Game Store. It hadn't appeared in a while, but the Pokémon really did exist!
Everyone crowded around him.
"Miller?"
Suddenly surrounded, Miraidon raised his head like a startled kitten and went on guard.
But once he realized they were only curious about him, he waved a claw in greeting. He hadn't noticed it himself, but he rather liked being so popular.
Mingyou breathed a little easier. Miraidon's unpredictable moods were still his biggest worry. He had adjusted to this era considerably, but he could still do dangerous things when he got carried away.
Servine watched Kirlia and the others gather around Miraidon, unsure how to go over and introduce himself. He had never been good at approaching others first, and he hesitated.
"Momo!"
What a hopeless guy!
Flutter Mane couldn't stand watching. She grabbed Servine and hauled him over, ignoring his struggles. The two nearly started arguing again, but Lucario appeared in time to stop them.
The noise still woke Snorlax. He rubbed his eyes and slowly sat up, his enormous body standing over three meters tall—an intimidating sight.
"Gabi~"
Gabite greeted him. They had been close since their days as Gible and Munchlax, playing together every day.
"Snor~"
Snorlax smiled. Only then did he notice Meloetta sitting on his belly, watching the excitement. With an introduction from Ogerpon, the two got acquainted.
