Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
Seven-hundred-thousand-year cultivation 17 In Su Liu’s simulation, Immortal Herbs from the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well strengthen her foundation enough to pass the seven-hundred-thousand-year tribulation ahead of schedule.

Background / History

Origin and spiritual kinship

The Snow Empress is a naturally born ice-and-snow spirit who survived the dangerous conditions surrounding spirits’ formation in the Far North. She explains that spirits become Soul Beasts when their minds fully form. Although this normally ends their value as natural treasures, their essence can still nourish exceptionally powerful Soul Beasts 15 16.

Her bond with Su Ming begins through their shared nature: she recognizes him as a wind spirit despite his human appearance. To him, meeting her resolves the unexplained emptiness that drew him north 15.

Su Liu’s simulation: protection and tragedy

On their first meeting, the Snow Empress catches Su Ming when he tries to flee and embraces him. He claims to be a transformed Soul Beast who has lost his memories, gaining her protection while the Ice Empress remains suspicious 15.

After hearing how the Silver Dragon King consumed Su Yin’er in an earlier simulation, she becomes furious. When Su Liu prepares to leave, she restrains him with the Power of Heaven and Earth and insists on accompanying him for his safety. The Ice Empress follows them to the Blue Silver Forest 16.

At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, her intimidation makes Dugu Bo accept Su Liu’s demand to leave. She then shares the site’s Immortal Herbs with Su Liu and the Ice Empress, passes her next tribulation, and accompanies him across the continent. Her attachment becomes increasingly possessive, and she chooses to defend him rather than side with the Ice Empress’s complaints 17.

She assists his revenge against Bibi Dong by knocking the pope unconscious and sealing her cultivation. Later, she helps support the West Wind Church, but Su Liu’s pursuit of faith and godhood leaves less time for their relationship. His painful attempts to condense soul cores distress her enough that she asks the Ice Empress to knock him unconscious 17 18 19 20.

During the battle outside Spirit Hall City, the Snow Empress, Ice Empress, and Ah Yin face Qian Daoliu and six other powerful fighters. After Su Liu blocks Bibi Dong’s attack, an outside force takes control of the Snow Empress: a trident mark appears on her forehead, and she crushes his heart before killing Ah Yin and the Ice Empress. She regains control only as Bibi Dong’s Rakshasa Demon Scythe decapitates her 22 23.

Her death remains a source of grief for Su Liu’s reborn self, contributing to his later violent rampage against the Abyss 27.

Ming’s simulation: mistaken courtship and ascension

In a later simulation, the Snow Empress and Ice Empress show no memory of their earlier simulated encounters. Ming merges his wind-spirit presence with the Far North’s winds, unintentionally performing a spirit courtship gesture. The Snow Empress interprets it as romantic interest and responds bashfully 38.

After observing his fight with the Ice Empress, she directly asks him to mate with her. Ming flees, escaping even her territorial restraint. She spends years following traces of his aura and finds him in the simulation’s eleventh year, accusing him of courting and then abandoning her. Despite his explanation that he only wanted friends, she and the Ice Empress move into his household 39 41.

She joins Ah Yin in making a Spring Autumn Sausage intended to drug Ming so they can sleep with him while he is unconscious. The incorrect recipe instead transforms the Ice Empress. After Ming discovers the scheme, the two women develop successive remedies, finally restoring her with version 1.12 42.

In year twenty, the Snow Empress willingly sacrifices herself to Tang San’s Clear Sky Hammer alongside Ah Yin and the Ice Empress, strengthening him before his ascension. Tang San later removes their Soul Rings and revives them upon entering the Divine Realm 45 46.

There, she continues pursuing Ming with the other women, spending his earnings on tonics and chasing him to the Forest of Life on a flying broom when he escapes. This simulation ultimately ends with the Divine Realm and its inhabitants destroyed inside the Divine Emperor’s body 48 49.

Later simulation: reckless habits and the Crimson invasion

In the later timeline, the Snow Empress and Ice Empress spend years with Su Zhiying and Su Yin’er. All four adopt smoking, drinking, and card-playing habits. Su Ming frightens the empresses into stopping, but they subsequently turn to pornography, gambling, and drugs 60 61.

When Su Ming returns from the Divine Realm in year 129, they are among the first companions he disciplines for resuming their reckless habits 63.

The Snow Empress later dies during the Mother of Crimson’s invasion. Alongside Ah Yin, Ah Rou, and the Ice Empress, she is overwhelmed by Crimson Creatures and absorbed as energy for the Crimson Plane while Su Ming is elsewhere 72.

Appearance

  • Height: Nearly three meters in the courtship simulation, with legs alone exceeding one and a half meters 38.
  • Build: Towering and full-bosomed, contrasting sharply with the petite Ice Empress 15 16 38.
  • Physical presence: Su Liu describes her embraces as soft and cool 17.

Personality

The Snow Empress is especially protective of a fellow spirit. Learning of Su Yin’er’s consumption enrages her, and she refuses to let Su Liu travel alone afterward. Her concern also extends to his self-inflicted cultivation injuries: unwilling to strike him herself, she asks the Ice Empress to intervene 16 19.

Her affection can become possessive. She prioritizes Su Liu over her longtime friendship with the Ice Empress, takes satisfaction in his indifference toward Bibi Dong, and persistently pursues Ming after interpreting his aura-sharing as courtship 17 38 41.

Her later simulated behavior is more reckless. She participates in the attempt to drug Ming, then joins the Su sisters and Ice Empress in repeated bouts of indulgence despite Su Ming’s interventions 42 60 61 63.

Abilities & Skills

Power of Heaven and Earth

She can draw on the Far North’s regional power to restrain even an opponent who has become wind 16.

  • Stops Su Liu’s attempted departure without injuring him 16.
  • The restraint disappears outside the Far North, leading him to conclude that this sealing capability depends on her territory 16.
  • Cannot stop the stronger Ming from escaping in a later simulation 39.

Emperor Palm: Great Cold Without Snow

  • Sends the Titan Snow Demon King flying with a single strike when he intrudes during Ming’s confrontation with the Ice Empress 39.

Cultivation Sealing

  • Knocks Bibi Dong unconscious and prevents her from activating Soul Power, Martial Soul, and Soul Bones 17.
  • Leaves Bibi Dong’s spiritual power usable because the Snow Empress is not yet particularly skilled in that area 17.

Ferocious Beast Strength and Soul Core

  • Her raw strength is no weaker than Qian Daoliu’s, but several Super Douluo attacking together overwhelm her outside the Far North 23.
  • The narration states that she and the Ice Empress could have killed at least half of their seven opponents had the battle occurred in their home territory 23.
  • Possesses a naturally formed soul core. Because she did not deliberately construct it, she cannot teach Su Liu how to condense one 19.
  • Detects suitable Immortal Herbs through her senses despite not recognizing most of them 17.

Aura Tracking

  • Follows traces of Ming’s aura over several years, eventually locating his home 41.

Equipment / Items

  • Immortal Herbs — Consumed at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well to strengthen her foundation and advance her tribulation 17.

  • Flying broom — Used to pursue Ming through the Divine Realm 48.

Relationships

  • Su Ming / Su Liu / Ming — Fellow wind spirit, protected companion, and romantic interest across different simulations; called one of his wives in the Divine Realm timeline 15 17 38 48.
  • Ice Empress — Friend of ten thousand years. The Ice Empress’s possessive attachment to her clashes with the Snow Empress’s preference for Su Ming, though they continue traveling and living together 17 38 41.
  • Ah Yin — Fellow member of Su Ming’s household. Initially insecure about the Snow Empress’s spiritual kinship with him, Ah Yin later collaborates with her on Spring Autumn Sausage research 16 42 44.
  • Tang San — His godmother in Ming’s simulation; sacrifices herself to strengthen his Clear Sky Hammer and is later revived by him 45 46.
  • Su Yin’er and Su Zhiying — Companions in the later simulation’s smoking, drinking, gambling, and other reckless pursuits 60 61 63.
  • Bibi Dong — Target of her cultivation seal and later her killer in Su Liu’s simulation 17 23.
  • Titan Snow Demon King — Fellow member of the Far North’s Three Great Heavenly Kings; she dismisses his interference with an Emperor Palm 38 39.
