• White-dyed hair: In the Su Liu simulation, she dyes her green hair white after becoming jealous of his intimacy with the Snow Empress 17.
• Temporary altered forms: A faulty Spring Autumn Sausage turns her multicolored and gives her a triangular head. Subsequent formulas shrink and otherwise alter her before version 1.12 restores her normal body 42.

Personality

The Ice Empress is proud, confrontational, and intensely possessive of the Snow Empress. She initially treats Su Ming’s simulated incarnations as intruders or romantic rivals, challenging them, insulting them, and repeatedly attacking them when the Snow Empress shows them affection. Her confidence suffers when even an injured Su Liu defeats her easily 15 17 19 38 39.

Her hostility does not exclude compassion. When Su Liu refuses to intervene as Bibi Dong is threatened by attackers, the Ice Empress kills them herself and condemns his indifference. She also asks whether he would abandon her and the Snow Empress in similar circumstances 18.

Her feelings toward Ming become more conflicted after receiving his affection during the sausage incident: once restored, she is embarrassed and angry but still wants his headpats. In later simulations, she participates in the household’s indulgent habits so enthusiastically that she nearly neglects her own clan 42 61 64.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Su Liu’s Simulation: From Rival to Ally

Su Ming first encounters the two empresses after a mysterious pull draws his simulated incarnation into the Far North. The Snow Empress recognizes him as a fellow spirit and protects him, while the Ice Empress remains suspicious and jealous. When the Snow Empress insists on accompanying him outside the region, the Ice Empress follows her to the Blue Silver Forest 15 16.

Although Su Liu initially wants to exclude her from sharing the Immortal Herbs, she accompanies them to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. The herbs allow her to pass her four-hundred-thousand-year tribulation early; she also consumes the Transformation Herb that Ah Yin later searches for 17.

Her role shifts from antagonistic companion to trusted ally. She rescues Bibi Dong from attackers and later helps the Snow Empress oversee the West Wind Church during Su Liu’s journey to Sea God Island. Nevertheless, his pursuit of faith and godhood gradually distances him from both empresses 18 19.

When Bibi Dong attacks the church, the Ice Empress fights alongside the Snow Empress and Ah Yin against Spirit Hall’s powerful combatants. Their group is overwhelmed. The Snow Empress, bearing a trident mark and acting under outside control, kills the Ice Empress and Ah Yin before regaining control 22 23.

Ming’s Simulation: Courtship and Household Life

In a later simulation, Ming spreads his wind-spirit presence through the Far North without realizing that spirits interpret such an act as courtship. The Snow Empress responds romantically, and the Ice Empress challenges him to a fight over her. Her attacks fail against his wind body; when the Snow Empress proposes mating, the Ice Empress wants to join them but is buried in the snow 38 39.

Ming flees, but the Snow Empress tracks him down in simulation year eleven with the Ice Empress accompanying her. Both move into his home. The Ice Empress initially has no interest in his headpats, but that changes after the Spring Autumn Sausage accident 41 42.

Sacrifice, Revival, and the Divine Realm

In simulation year twenty, the Ice Empress willingly sacrifices herself to Tang San’s Clear Sky Hammer alongside Ah Yin and the Snow Empress. The plan is to strengthen him and enable him to bring more companions to the Divine Realm. Tang San later revives all three during his ascension 45 46.

Life in the Divine Realm becomes dominated by the women’s attempts to overcome Ming’s lack of sexual response. They spend his earnings on tonics and pursue him on flying brooms when he flees toward the Forest of Life. Later, the Ice Empress confronts Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing over their involvement with him and calls in the Snow Empress 48 49.

This simulation ends when the Divine Realm is consumed inside the Divine Emperor’s body, destroying the realm and its inhabitants 49.

Federation Timeline and Final Death

In a later simulation, the Ice Empress and Snow Empress return with Su Ming’s daughters after years away. Their shared vices lead to repeated reprimands, but the habits recur after his absence. In year 161, Su Ming orders the Ice Empress to relocate her clan into human territory under the Federation’s developing Soul Beast protections 60 61 63 64.

By year 300, she helps Ah Yin, Ah Rou, and the Snow Empress stabilize the Crimson invasion front, supported by Su Xue’er’s enemy-weakening abilities 71.

The Mother of Crimson subsequently overwhelms the defenders. The Ice Empress, Snow Empress, Ah Yin, and Ah Rou are killed beneath the Crimson Creatures’ assault and absorbed as energy by the Crimson Plane while Su Ming is away raiding the Abyss 72.
