Luofan’s Golden Entries transformed him into a rapidly growing Soul Master as he helped Xue Qinghe build Heaven Dou Daily and gained increasingly powerful Soul Skills. After claiming Immortal Herbs at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and giving one to Xue Qinghe, Luofan faced the arrival of Ning Fengzhi, Sword Douluo, and Ning Rongrong.
Luofan refused the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s attempt to reclaim him, drew closer to Qian Renxue and Yue Guan, and grew stronger while cultivating and hunting a fourth Soul Ring. He reached Nuoding City and offered Tang San a Nine-Grade Purple Ganoderma in exchange for the Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record, but Tang San refused and questioned how Luofan knew of it.
Luofan traded for Tang San's techniques, developed their rule-based effects, and gained fame by defeating Soul Saints in Heaven Dou City. Spirit Hall's interference at the Moonlight Banquet prompted him to arrange an ancestral visit to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect with Xue Qinghe.
Luofan gained a second Martial Soul, powerful new abilities, and several rare Soul Rings and Soul Bones while hunting in the Star Dou Great Forest. After arriving at Sea God Island and impressing its guardians, he accepted the Sea God Nine Trials and completed the first trial by reaching the Sea God Hall.
