As night deepened, Star Dou Town fell into a deathly silence.

Outside the Old Zhu Family's courtyard, the Fierce Wolf Group left twelve men to guard the place. The two leaders were two Soul Elder, one tall and one short, with sinister faces and their Soul Ring turning Youyou in the night.

The remaining ten Soul Grandmaster were scattered around, surrounding the courtyard like an iron barrel.

Old Zhu were tied to the old locust tree in the yard, their mouths stuffed with rags. The night wind blew, and the old woman shivered. Old Mr. Zhu nudged her with his shoulder, silently comforting her.

But unseen by the Fierce Wolf Group, a hunt has already begun in the shadows.

Li Huo led a large group of men away from the Small Town, and before long, Ning Chengyi and Bibi Dong had even finished their business.

Bibi Dong sped off alone toward the official road outside the town, deliberately revealing a trace of Soul Power fluctuation.

Her figure was elusive, sometimes visible, sometimes hidden, like a dark purple butterfly in the night, which allowed the Fierce Wolf Group's scouts to see her clearly.

"It's her! Zhu Qianxun!"

"Quickly! Notify the regimental commander!"

The Signal Flare from the hidden sentry shot into the sky.

In the distance, Li Huo suddenly turned around, staring at the purple figure disappearing into the night, his eyes flashing with a fierce light.

"Chase her! I'll make her wish she were dead!"

He led his main force to turn around and give chase, leaving only the two Soul Elder and ten Soul Grandmaster to continue guarding the area.

What Li Huo didn't know was that the purple figure only displayed the speed of Soul Ancestor from beginning to end.

Bibi Dong's true strength is gradually being restored.

Meanwhile, Ning Chengyi had already made his way to the headquarters of the Fierce Wolf Group.

It was a village built against the mountain, with high earthen walls and surrounded by wooden fences, where more than thirty members of the group remained.

Ning Chengyi lay on an ancient tree outside the village, Phantom Butterfly in his palm gently fluttering its wings, golden spiritual energy quietly spreading out.

The perception abilities granted by the Wisdom Skull allowed him to see the village's defenses, sentry posts, and patrol routes.

"Thirty-one. None of them are Soul Elder." Ning Chengyi's lips curled slightly.

Instead of taking immediate action, he first released several Phantom Butterfly, which silently landed on the village's water source, granary, and several tents.

The butterfly pollen, colorless and odorless, dissipates into the air.

Fifteen minutes later, some people in the village began to experience dizziness, nausea, and weakness in their limbs.

First a few, then a dozen, and finally even the sentries on duty slid down to the ground, leaning against the wall.

They will never understand until their deaths that there is something unseen in tonight's dinner.

"Bang!"

Ning Chengyi kicked open the village gate, the Desolation-Suppressing God-Breaking Spear in hand, and the purple Soul Ring beneath his feet exploded.

Without the slightest hesitation, he unleashed his spear like a dragon, his First Soul Skill, Mystic Edge, Leveling Mountains, sweeping out, shattering the tent and sending figures flying.

The poisoned members of the Fierce Wolf Group didn't even have time to release their Martial Soul before they were shot one by one and pinned to the ground.

Screams, pleas for mercy, and the sound of weapons hitting the ground mingled together, Ning Chengyi ignored them all, his eyes cold, and his attacks became increasingly ruthless.

"Leave no one alive."

After an incense stick had burned, there were no more survivors in the village.

Ning Chengyi stood in the middle of the pile of corpses, flicked the blood droplets off the tip of his gun, took out a Signal Flare from his Storage Ring, lit it, and shot it into the sky.

Red fireworks burst open in the night sky, dazzling and eye-catching.

Li Huo, who was chasing Bibi Dong, suddenly turned around and saw the signal in the direction of the village; his expression changed drastically.

"A feint to the east while attacking in the west?!" He gritted his teeth, his eyes blazing with fury. He glanced back at the direction Bibi Dong had disappeared, then looked towards the village, his chest practically bursting with rage.

Finally, he stamped his foot and shouted, "Go back! That woman can't escape. If the village is gone, we'll be wiped out!"

But less than a quarter of an hour after he and his men started their journey back, a second Signal Flare was launched.

This time it's... in the direction of the Old Zhu Family!

Li Huo stopped in his tracks, almost going crazy.

"Commander, what should we do?" the deputy asked urgently.

Li Huo's face was ashen, and his fists were clenched so tightly they cracked.

He suddenly remembered something, turned around abruptly, Bibi Dong's figure had already disappeared.

The woman's speed just now was clearly a trick on him.

Her strength far surpasses that of Soul Ancestor.

"We've fallen for their trap!" Li Huo roared. "Everyone back! Back to town!"

But this round trip will take at least 45 minutes.

This period of time is enough for Ning Chengyi to finish everything.

Outside the Old Zhu Family's courtyard.

The two Soul Elder and ten Soul Grandmaster were getting anxious. They had seen the Signal Flare from the village and were hesitating whether to go back to provide support when a second Signal Flare exploded overhead.

That was clearly the direction of the Old Zhu Family.

"What's going on?!" The tall Soul Elder exclaimed in surprise and disbelief.

"Could this be a diversionary tactic?" The short Soul Elder's expression changed.

The two exchanged a glance, unsure of what to do, when suddenly two figures rushed out of the darkness.

Old Zhao and Old Xu, both covered in blood, their Soul Ring glowing, charged straight at the ten Soul Grandmaster.

"You're courting death!" The tall Soul Elder sneered, his four Soul Ring rotating as his Soul Elder aura crashed down.

Old Zhao and Old Xu were merely level 29 Soul Grandmaster; they were like ants in his presence.

"Puff!"

In a single exchange, Old Zhao was sent flying by a palm strike, crashing into the wall and spitting out blood.

Old Xu also had two ribs broken by the short Soul Elder's kick and rolled to the ground.

"Old Zhao!" Old Xu roared, struggling to get up.

"Go! Take Old Man Zhu with you!" Old Zhao stood up, leaning against the wall, his eyes resolute. He threw another punch at the tall Soul Elder, fighting with a complete recklessness.

The tall Soul Elder frowned, then shattered Old Zhao's shoulder blade with a backhand strike. Old Zhao screamed in agony and collapsed to the ground. The short Soul Elder, meanwhile, stepped on Old Xu's chest, sneering as he leaned down, "You two dare to stop us?"

Just as the two Soul Elder ' attention was completely drawn...

Outside the courtyard wall, Ning Chengyi quietly crept up.

The Phantom Butterfly flapped its wings, and a large amount of butterfly pollen surged into the courtyard like mist. The pale golden dust blended into the night, silently.

Two enormous Phantom Butterfly materialized in his palm, flapping their wings simultaneously, instantly engulfing the entire courtyard in a thick cloud of butterfly powder.

"What the hell?!" The tall Soul Elder's vision blurred as golden mist obscured his view, making it impossible to see his own hand in front of his face.

The shorter Soul Elder fared even worse; the butterfly powder, once it touched his skin, caused an unbearable itch, as if a thousand ants were gnawing at his bones. He scratched frantically, screaming in agony.

"Walk!"

Ning Chengyi into the courtyard, grabbing one of the Old Zhu couple with each hand and tearing the ropes binding them.

Before Old Zhu could react, Ning Chengyi had already carried the old woman on his back and grabbed Old Zhu with his other hand, rushing outside.

"You... you're that kid?!" Old Zhu exclaimed, his eyes wide with astonishment.

"Don't speak, come with me!"

Behind them, in the mist, the two Soul Elder were still struggling frantically, but they had inhaled too much butterfly dust, and their consciousness was beginning to blur.

The ten Soul Grandmaster had already collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

Ning Chengyi led the two elderly people around the alley and into a small path.

Old Xu, who had been waiting there, gritted his teeth and endured the pain, took the old woman and carried her on his back, while Old Zhao was supported by two young Soul Master who had arrived. The group quickly disappeared into the depths of the night.

Less than a hundred breaths after they left, Li Huo finally returned with a large group of men.

All he saw was a courtyard filled with golden mist, two Soul Elder foaming at the mouth and convulsing, and ten Soul Grandmaster lying on the ground, unable to get up.

The Old Zhu couple had long since disappeared.

Li Huo stood in the empty courtyard, his face turning from pale to white, then from white to black.

He kicked half of the courtyard wall and roared to the sky, his voice echoing across the surrounding area.

You... you deserve to die!

Meanwhile, at the other end of the Small Town, in a secluded cellar, Ning Chengyi settled the two elderly people down and then took out medicine from his Storage Ring and handed it to Old Xu.

Old Zhao was the most seriously injured, with a fractured scapula and several broken ribs, but fortunately, his life was not in danger.

"Young Ning..." Old Zhu finally came to his senses, tears streaming down his face. He grabbed Ning Chengyi's hand, his lips trembling as he couldn't speak.

The old woman was sobbing uncontrollably, and knelt on the ground, about to kowtow, but Ning Chengyi held her back tightly.

"No, Mr. Zhu, it's only right that I do these things."

Just as he was about to ask, a soft sound came from the entrance to the cellar.

Everyone tensed up, but Ning Chengyi had already stood up, a slight smile playing on his lips.

The cellar door opened, and a slender figure darted in.

It was Bibi Dong.

Her face was still pale, but the murderous intent in her dark purple eyes had subsided, replaced by a gentle warmth.

Seeing that the Old Zhu. and Mrs. Zhu were safe and sound, her tense shoulders finally relaxed.

"Father, Mother." Her voice trembled slightly as she quickly stepped forward and knelt before them.

"Girl!" The old woman hugged her tightly and burst into tears.

Ning Chengyi leaned against the wall, watching this scene with a calm expression.

Bibi Dong raised her head, her gaze meeting Ning Chengyi's in the dim light, across the old woman's shoulder.

She didn't say anything, only nodded slightly.

Ning Chengyi grinned, held out one hand, and made a "done" gesture.

Bibi Dong's lips curved into a barely perceptible smile before she regained her usual aloofness and turned to comfort the Old Zhu couple.

But Ning Chengyi clearly saw that when she turned around, the tips of her ears turned up slightly red.
