"What? Why can't I go to Hogsmeade?" After breakfast, Harry was about to leave for Hogsmeade when Professor Flitwick stopped him at the entrance to the Dining Room, drawing plenty of attention.

Neville and Ron stood nearby, neither daring to say much in front of the professor. Hermione was nowhere to be seen. Lately, she had been busy making sure every assignment was perfect—except Divination.

Harry was unhappy with Professor Flitwick's firm refusal. It was a snowy day, and Hogsmeade would be beautiful. Playing in the snow with his friends would be a blast, especially when young wizards' snowball fights came with all sorts of magic.

And after getting chilled in a snowball fight, a sip of Butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks would feel so good it could bring tears to his eyes.

"These are unusual times, Harry. Hogwarts has to keep you safe. Don't forget, there's still a criminal on the loose." Professor Flitwick was small and spoke gently, but Harry respected him. He didn't push past him.

"Don't worry, Harry. I'll bring you loads of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and Licorice Wands!" Ron pocketed the silver and copper coins Harry handed him and gave him a solemn promise.

"But I want Chocolate Frogs and Cauldron Cakes. And don't forget Zonko's Joke Shop, like I told you last time." Harry gave Ron a doubtful look. "Neville, help me remind him."

"Um... are you sure you want me to?" Neville scratched his head.

"Um... never mind. I'll write a note."

A few minutes later, Harry returned to the Gryffindor Common Room feeling rather glum. By the window, he stared absently at the frozen Black Lake and the snow-blanketed Forbidden Forest.

He was still lost in thought when someone slapped him on the back. "Hey, Harry!"

"George? Fred?" Harry knew
