At Honeydukes, Will bought a mountain of sweets: Chocolate Frogs, Licorice Wands, Sherbet Lemons, and more. He also picked out a big bag of Cockroach Clusters—Dumbledore was rather fond of them.
Will had barely stepped out of Honeydukes when Harry pushed open a trapdoor and peered curiously into the cellar-like space. "What's this?"
"Under Honeydukes," George explained.
"We found it a while back. Sneaking out at night has its benefits, doesn't it?"
"Come on, let's buy some sweets." Fred was the last to climb out of the cellar.
Harry was still looking around with interest. He had never imagined a secret passage could take him straight from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade. How convenient would that be? He could throw on his Invisibility Cloak and come shopping whenever he liked.
"Come on, Harry. This way." Fred dragged him toward the stairs.
Twenty minutes later, Harry paid for his purchases, his pockets stuffed with sweets. Chewing a Fizzing Whizzbee, he stepped outside with the Weasley Brothers.
"It's beautiful." Harry had never seen Hogsmeade in the snow before.
"We've got the sweets. How about a drink at the Three Broomsticks? A Butterbeer would be lovely in weather like this." Fred hooked an arm around Harry's neck.
"But..." Harry hesitated. Mr. Strange, inside his glasses, was urging him to return to Hogwarts too.
"Oh, come on. You're already in Hogsmeade. You're not still worried about breaking school rules, are you? Besides, we can buy you a cloak at Gladrags Wizardwear. No one will recognize you. And Black? With this many people in Hogsmeade, would he dare show up in broad daylight?" George lowered his voice beside Harry's ear. "Don't you want a warm, frothy, delicious Butterbeer?"
