A bag of Sherbet Lemons and several boxes of sweets sat on Dumbledore's desk. Dumbledore was enjoying a Sherbet Lemon, while Snape looked rather resigned.
Seeing Will enter, Dumbledore nodded to him and pointed at the ice cream on the desk. "Would you like some? It's delicious."
"Of course." Will helped himself without hesitation. Eating ice cream in such a warm room in winter really was pleasant, especially as dessert after a meal.
This made Snape look even more resigned.
"Slurp... I received both your gifts," Dumbledore said, picking up the beautifully wrapped box of Honeydukes sweets from his desk. "Will, you have excellent taste.
"Severus doesn't understand these things. He only ever gives me books on Potions."
Snape remained expressionless. He merely picked up the cup beside him and took a sip, as though he hadn't heard a word Dumbledore said.
