"Is this Hogwarts? I thought I'd come to the wrong place!"
Harry, who trained on the Quidditch pitch every evening, walked into the Great Hall with dark circles under his eyes. Looking at the decorations all around him, he thought he must have come to the wrong place.
"Have you forgotten what day it is?" Ron said, pointing at the gifts in front of Jerry and at Lockhart, who was constantly preening in the professors' dining area.
Harry: "..."
"Why are you so late today?"
"Quidditch practice went on too late last night!" Harry said with a yawn. With match day approaching, Wood was practically working them to death!
They trained in sunshine, trained under cloudy skies, and trained in the rain! Light rain meant hard training, heavy rain meant pushing through, and downpours meant squeezing in practice whenever they could!
"Jerry!" Lockhart suddenly shouted from up ahead in Jerry's direction. Then he hurried over excitedly and grabbed Jerry's hand. "It seems outstanding people like us are equally popular at school! Still, it's not good to accept gifts from girls at your age. Look at Mr. Potter. He's just as famous, yet he hasn't received a single gift!"
Harry: "..." Lockhart, you fucking—
The corner of Jerry's mouth twitched. He forcefully pulled his hand free and stared speechlessly at Lockhart. Has this bastard used so many Memory Charms that he's affected himself too?
Has he already forgotten the lesson he learned at the Duelling Club?
Lockhart, surely you don't actually think my spell nearly blasted you to death just because you let your guard down and didn't dodge!
Come on, man. Fool other people if you want, but don't fool yourself too!
For a moment, Jerry couldn't tell whether the man was just unfazed or genuinely stupid!
*Maybe I should
