The library was always packed before final exams!
"Dried nettles, snake fangs, porcupine quills, slugs..." Neville stared wearily at the various potion recipes before him, his eyes swimming. Beside them lay mountains of homework for Charms, Transfiguration, Herbology, and History of Magic.
After looking around to make sure the librarian, Madam Pince, was nowhere nearby, Neville lowered his voice and said with a hint of envy, "Honestly, I'm a bit jealous of Jerry! He doesn't have to do homework or take exams!"
Harry and Ron felt exactly the same way and nodded enviously in turn.
"You're getting jealous too soon!" Standing behind the three of them, Jerry imitated Snape's low, icy voice. "I have to take the final exams too, just like you!"
Jerry's sudden voice startled all three boys. They thought Snape had crept up behind them again to eavesdrop, only to turn around and find the recovered Jerry and Hermione, who was covering her mouth to stifle her laughter.
Harry scratched his head and laughed awkwardly. "Jerry, you've recovered and left the Hospital Wing! That's brilliant. We thought..."
"Thought I was Snape?" Jerry's lips curled upward as he looked at the panic and astonishment on Harry's, Ron's, and Neville's faces. His tone was teasing, but inwardly, he couldn't help wondering what on earth Snape had done during the two months he'd been unconscious to frighten these three so badly.
"Professor McGonagall told me first thing this morning that I have to take the final exams with you. No exceptions." Jerry waved the book in his hand and continued, "But I don't have to do homework!"
Upon hearing that Jerry had to take the final exams too, the three boys exchanged astonished looks. It had never occurred to them that Jerry, who hadn't attended a lesson in two months,
