Outside the Orphanage.
Whoosh! A Black Car suddenly appeared. Catherine, who had been waiting nearby for some time, hurried forward and respectfully opened the door for Jerry.
"Your Eminence..."
Catherine had barely begun to speak when Jerry waved a hand to stop her. "Let's talk inside."
The moment Jerry stepped into the Orphanage, he sensed an unusual stillness. His brow furrowed, and his guard went up.
Unlike every other day, the Orphanage was far too quiet!
There was usually noise and commotion at the Orphanage no matter the hour. Now, only the faint rustle of wind through the leaves could be heard.
When they entered the Great Hall, there was still no one in sight. Even the Matron was gone.
"Where is everyone?"
Jerry turned to Catherine, curious.
"Your Eminence, we moved everyone out temporarily ahead of time!"
Jerry was surprised. He hadn't expected the Apostles to make such a production of this.
"What happened? Why did you need me here so urgently?"
"It concerns a Horcrux, Your Eminence. Let's speak in the office. The Archbishop has been waiting for you."
"The Archbishop? That's your grandfather, if I remember right."
Before Summer Vacation, Catherine had told Jerry that her grandfather wanted to meet him, but Jerry had turned him down. He hadn't expected the man to come straight to him this time!
Jerry still looked calm and collected, but inside, he was panicking!
