Ever since the Cornish Pixies had run riot in the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom during the first lesson, Jerry had no idea whether Lockhart had recognized his own limitations. But Lockhart no longer brought live creatures to class. He did not even bring his Wand.

Sometimes he decided a solo performance was no fun and recruited a supporting actor. An ensemble cast made for a better show, after all.
Jerry and Harry were the most famous students in the class. Perhaps the pixie incident had left Lockhart wary of Jerry, because Harry was the unlucky one he picked on instead!

Malfoy was the most delighted of all. If he could have, he probably would have become Harry's biggest fan!

Students streamed in from every house to share dinner after a day of classes. The tempting aroma of food filled the air, mingling with laughter and the pleasant clink of silverware.
"Hm?"
Jerry frowned slightly over his Pumpkin Juice. He had just sensed an unusual fluctuation of magic, somewhat like that of the House-elves in the Castle.
He glanced toward the professors' table. Dumbledore was talking to the professor beside him and had probably sensed it too. But since he showed no reaction, Jerry could not be bothered either. *I'm not
