Arc 1The Inheritor of Slay Ghosts

Ji Changfeng’s astonishing comprehension and rapid cultivation made him a rising force in Qingyun Sect, while he uncovered Daoist Cangsong’s betrayal and learned Cangsong was not responsible for the Caomiao Village massacre. He received the Dragon Slaying Sword and promised to compete for first place at the tournament four years later, as the real culprit remained unknown.

  • After joining Dazhu Peak, Ji Changfeng used Heaven-Defying Comprehension to master Taiji Xuanqing Dao rapidly and create the sword arts Sword Opens the Heavenly Gate and Two Sleeves of Azure Serpents.

Ji Changfeng emerged as Qingyun Sect’s tournament champion, while clues about Caomiao Village pointed toward Puzhi. He then led Zhang Xiaofan, Lu Xueqi, and Qi Hao toward Mount Kongsang, where they crossed paths with Biyao and her companions.

  • Ji Changfeng returned to Dazhu Peak with the Dragon Slaying Sword, spent four years cultivating and studying, and gave Su Ru a Face-Fixing Pill before confronting Qi Hao and Lin Jingyu.
  • Ji Changfeng defeated Qi Hao, then revealed his Upper Clarity cultivation to Wan Jianyi and accepted him as a second master while arranging to face Lu Xueqi in the tournament semifinals.

  • Ji Changfeng clashed with You Ji in Heyang City, then led Lu Xueqi, Qi Hao, and Zhang Xiaofan to the Ten Thousand Bat Ancient Cave, where he defeated Old Man Nian and destroyed the Blood Refining Hall remnants.
  • At the Sea of Ruthlessness, Ji Changfeng fought the Black Water Mysterious Serpent, which swept Biyao and Zhang Xiaofan into its depths before Ji Changfeng rescued them from the sealed Blood-Dripping Cave.

Ji Changfeng defeated the Demonic Sect at Liubo Mountain, confronted the truth behind Caomiao Village, and helped arrange Zhang Xiaofan’s undercover mission. As the Demonic Sect attacked Qingyun Sect, Zhang Xiaofan’s baleful artifact threatened to overwhelm him and Ji Changfeng entered the battle wielding the Immortal Slaying Sword.

  • Ji Changfeng arrived at Liubo Mountain, killed Vampire Old Demon and Hundred Poisons Child, and drove Old Monster Duanmu into flight.
