After surviving its Law Creation Tribulation, he feigned severe injuries to lure out hidden enemies and began guiding Qingyun’s leaders and companions into the new cultivation system.

• Ji Changfeng told Linglong how he had killed the Beast God, and she agreed to help him pursue immortality as his remnant soul was sustained by his spiritual power.
• Ji Changfeng learned the Ancient Witch Tribe’s secret techniques from Linglong, then used the Deriving Heaven Secret Technique and saw a vision of himself before an opened Heavenly Gate.

After learning of the Barbaric Sacred Hall’s schemes and disturbances in the Northern Region, Ji Changfeng went to Linglong, whose soul cultivation had reached a bottleneck that required his Extreme Yang Qi.

• Ji Changfeng recovered, identified the Demonic Sect’s plan to sacrifice the Rogue Cultivators of Ten Thousand Swords Immortal City, and sent Lu Xueqi and Jin Ping'er to stop it.
