Just as Uchiha Yi had asked the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, "Do you want to dance too?" he now flitted among them like a butterfly, weaving between the six and drawing all their attacks onto himself.
The swordsmen could clearly feel him taking control of the fight. Some wanted to break away and cut down Uchiha Mikoto and the others first, but Uchiha Yi kept pulling them back in.
They could not escape his grip on the battle.
The pressure, and the way he dictated their every move, caught the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist off guard. Uchiha Yi was far stronger than they had imagined. His reputation was well earned.
Even using nothing but his Sharingan, Taijutsu, and Swordsmanship, Uchiha Yi held the swordsmen at bay with ease. He had yet to go all out.
Uchiha Mikoto and the others, meanwhile, were locked in a hard fight. The four of them were already strong, and they worked together seamlessly. Otherwise, they would have stood no chance against the wielder of the Kubikiribōchō.
Without that coordination, they might well have lost. There was no shame in that.
As one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, their opponent ranked among Kirigakure's finest and was no weaker than Zabuza Momochi would be in the future.
The four had already done remarkably well to hold their ground.
Hyuga Rinka, in particular, showed exceptional skill against the wielder of the Kubikiribōchō. She took the lead in the fight, alongside Uchiha Mikoto.
Uchiha Mikoto had also studied Swordsmanship under Uchiha Yi.
The Senju Clan's style did not suit her, but after Uchiha Yi learned Izuna's sword techniques, he taught them to Uchiha Mikoto as well.
Izuna's light, agile style suited Uchiha Mikoto remarkably well, and her strength had grown considerably.
