The next day, Uchiha Yi washed up at home and gave Uchiha Mikoto a few more instructions about what lay ahead. Then he left the village alone and soon reached the camp using the Flying Thunder God Technique.
The camp was full of wounded men. Yi fell silent at the sight, then bit his finger and slammed both hands onto the ground. A massive slug appeared outside the camp.
"Yi, is something wrong?" the Slug Sage asked, surprised by the size of the body he had summoned.
"There are a lot of wounded here. Sorry for the trouble, but could you help treat them?" Yi asked as he sensed the presences around him.
"I see. Leave it to me. But I may need to draw on your Chakra to heal them," the Slug Sage warned, her antennae twitching. "And I can only provide basic treatment."
"That's enough." Yi did not object. As he spoke with the Slug Sage, an Anbu squad rushed over and surrounded him.
Yi gave them an Anbu hand signal, then tossed his appointment scroll to their leader.
Yi knew the leader. They had even spent several years around each other. This was the Anbu squad that had once guarded Mito Uzumaki, and he had heard they belonged to the Senju Clan. After Uchiha Yi's Squad took over the duty of guarding Mito Uzumaki, their assignment had changed.
He had not expected them to end up on the Kirigakure front.
"I didn't expect them to send you." After confirming Yi's orders, the lead Ninja breathed a sigh of relief. They had been worried Kirigakure might try something.
"I summoned Lady Katsuyu to help treat the wounded. The main force set out yesterday," Yi told the Anbu. "By the way, what's your code name?"
