Hashirama Senju's Cells really were useful. If something went wrong with the Mangekyō Sharingan's Eye Power, Hashirama Senju's Cells could help it recover little by little.
Even Izanagi, in theory, required the power of both the Uchiha Clan and the Senju Clan to use. Obito Uchiha had said so himself.
But that rule seemed to have been forgotten later. Apparently, a Three-Tomoe Sharingan was all anyone needed.
After all, Madara Uchiha hadn't possessed the power of the Senju Clan when he fought Hashirama Senju in their final battle. Hadn't he used Izanagi anyway?
Uchiha Yi had once suspected that Madara Uchiha's Mangekyō Sharingan ability was connected to Izanagi. The difference was that Izanagi blinded a Three-Tomoe Sharingan, while Madara Uchiha's ability only needed time to recover.
Unfortunately, that theory was probably wrong too.
If Madara Uchiha's ability had really worked that way, Hashirama Senju would likely have known. He would never have allowed Madara Uchiha's body to be preserved.
While Uchiha Yi pondered Hashirama Cells, Mito Uzumaki was thinking about Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
Shrines to the Rabbit Goddess were not uncommon in the Shinobi World. Kaguya Ōtsutsuki had ruled it for a time, after all, and legends still told of how she had subdued a rampaging giant monster.

They had disagreed with her. That didn't mean they had stopped caring about her.
And what harm could leaving the shrines standing do?
Hagoromo Otsutsuki and Hamura Otsutsuki had not ordered Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's shrines demolished. With Black Zetsu, her devoted son, encouraging her worship, the Rabbit Goddess's shrines remained the most visited in the Shinobi World even now.
Few people still knew who the Rabbit Goddess was, though. Like the Sage
