• Lightning Release Chakra Mode — Chakra covers the body and stimulates its cells. Yan reconstructs the technique by studying A’s chakra flow and testing it repeatedly 43 49.
• Eight Gates — Driving chakra through the meridians grants Yan a surge of strength, but opening the Gates makes precise chakra control more difficult 29.

Information Transfer

Orochimaru’s experiments suggest that chakra can carry information about its bearer’s body. Chakra extracted from cultivated cells changes a small portion of ordinary cells to resemble them, but he cannot take the experiment further at that stage 23.

• Orochimaru describes Yang Release chakra as carrying bodily information and Yin Release as carrying spiritual information 40.
• He theorizes that copying bodily information requires sufficient life energy and spiritual energy; without them, the process fails or reverts 40.

• A Miao describes a wooden mask with scarlet eyes that absorbs chakra. When Yoshitsune wears it, his chakra swells, but he loses control and attacks his own allies 47.
