On the street below the Warship, a tall, lean figure in a green cloak and horned helmet approached at an unhurried pace. It was Loki.

Morlun had traveled through hundreds of universes. Of course he knew Magneto's reputation for making an entrance.

He knew Loki too, though not this universe's Loki. He knew the cunning God of Mischief who had stood beside a Spider-Man he had hunted in another Parallel Universe, forever speaking in half-truths.

That Loki had been difficult to deal with, and this one probably would be too.

And this Magneto was not the one from that universe. He was an older version of the sly fox from another Parallel Universe who had wagered all of Gyo Island.

At the sight of three top-tier fighters, cold sweat soaked Morlun's back. But he was one of the Inheritors' finest hunters. He never ran.

Besides, the Inheritors had cloning technology that could bring them back from the dead.

"I admit you're strong, but just the three of you?" Morlun growled, crouching slightly, his body taut as a drawn bow. "You think you can keep me here?"

His voice echoed down the empty street, thick with the fury and defiance of a dying beast.

Magneto heard him and glanced at Loki.

"He's still talking tough, even now."
