When Su Yi brought Ilis aboard a starship to the ancient asteroid belt near the Six-Winged Angel, they arrived to find a startling sight.
Everything around the enormous ship had been completely cleared away.
The corpses of the countless Orcs and demons killed earlier had been blasted into bare white bones by a terrifying power.
"Something's wrong." Su Yi looked startled by the sight.
Ilis asked, "What is it?"
Su Yi said, "From what I know about this ship, the Divine Array is certainly powerful..."
"But its power shouldn't manifest like this."
"The Ancient Entropy Human Emperor's light might reduce everything to dust, or leave the bodies intact while burning away every soul."
"But leaving nothing except skeletons... that doesn't look like his power."
Ilis looked ahead, her purple eyes deep and unreadable.
"From what we can see, there's no sign of any large-scale modifications."
"We'll have to go inside to find out exactly what happened."
The two then boarded one of the company's most advanced miniature stealth Assault Craft and rapidly approached the ship.
Just as they drew close, messages from the players began coming in to Su Yi.
Big Watermelon called first. "Godfather! We finally got through to you!"
Su Yi hurriedly asked, "How bad were our casualties? How many are left?"
Big Watermelon said, "We lost about three thousand earlier. That sudden outburst just now killed practically everyone."
"Wheelchair, Eyes, Goudan—they're all dead."
"Only Polar Bear and I are left."
"Maybe Polar Bear's had so much bad luck that the goddess of fortune finally smiled on him."
"I don't know how he did it, but he actually opened one of the ship's hatches."
"Then he pulled me inside at the last second. Unless something unexpected happened, everyone else has kicked the bucket!"
Su Yi nodded in understanding.
