"You're not playing the lead?" Michael asked, stunned.
"I'm not quite the right age."
The girls wanted a handsome dream lover, not a boy the same height as they were.
"But if Augusta Olmedo finds out you've cast his precious son as the star of a Recording Magic Stone, he'll turn you into a pig with a Sheep Transformation Spell."
Annan had to correct him again. "This isn't that kind of Recording Magic Stone nobles make. And why would a Sheep Transformation Spell turn me into a pig?"
"Changing a Spell Model is as easy as shaping clay for an Epic Mage."
"What about you?"
Annan looked at Francois, who hurriedly refused. "If you associate the Faceless Baron with a Recording Magic Stone, Breeze City will think I've made a new work."
He had old ones?
Annan did not pursue it. "Then where do we find someone young, handsome, and able to draw a crowd?"
"Annan, open the curtains," Michael said.
Annan pulled them aside and saw his face reflected in the glass.
"See?"
Fair enough. The King of the North might be even better suited to the leading role than the city lord of Breeze City.
Law Breaks the Sky had sold out in no small part because of Annan's identity. People had even taken the line "Thirty years on the east bank of the Ploney River, thirty years on the west" as a hint that he would reclaim everything he had lost.
If Annan played the lead, even Augusta Olmedo might come to see what he was up to.
But that also meant Annan would have to face the consequences when the
