The simple invitation sent Frum Crayle's and Fiona Russell's emotions surging like a storm-tossed sea.
"I would."
"It would be my honor to join your pantheon."
The two rushed to accept, each afraid that if they were a moment too slow, the exalted being before them would change his mind and withdraw the invitation.
He said "you," but he didn't mean me, did he? The moment Fiona Russell spoke, her heart tightened. She gripped the hem of her clothes, worry and fear spilling from her beautiful sapphire eyes. She dreaded hearing him say, "I didn't mean you. I meant the tree behind you."
Compared with Mr. Mystery and Mr. Paper Doll, she had always been on the fringes of this gathering. She had never helped him. For Godhood to suddenly fall into her lap felt unreal, leaving her startled and afraid.
Frum Crayle felt much the same. It hardly seemed real.
He accepted me?

He was still a long way from sitting upon a Divine Throne. His Authority over "Game" had yet to come into being, let alone fall under his control. But now that this great being had accepted him, he felt certain he would become a god in the end.
In Frum's eyes, even Jiang Hao's avatar was a Greater Divine Power with a Divine Rank of fifteen. His true body had to be at least a rank-eighteen Greater Divine Power. Perhaps he was one of the Supreme Divine Powers who had existed since the Main Plane first came into being.
Of the Seven Primordial Gods whose names were passed down on the Main Plane, only three were known: the Lord of Dawn, the Mysterious Girl, and the Lady of Night. The other four
