Though he had little enthusiasm for spreading his Faith in the Otherworld, he had Blue Star as a source of belief and lacked no Divine Power. But a New God who made no effort to spread his Faith after ascending would easily arouse the suspicions of other gods and invite unwanted scrutiny.

As his gaze descended, scenes appeared one after another.

A vast blue Ocean, lush forests, dark yellow earth—and railways stretching across nearly two-thirds of the continent, so fine that even a Legendary Professional could not make them out. Steam Trains raced along them, their carriages like black beasts.

At a mere thought, he heard the sound of a Steam Engine running. The distance between the Main Plane and his Divine Kingdom would have filled any Practitioner unskilled in teleportation with despair. No matter how keen their hearing, they could never have heard something so far away.

But to a god, that distance was no distance at all.

He focused his vision on one region of the Main Plane.

Antonio, a Legendary Druid, sat on the yellow earth with his pet Big-Tailed Red Rat. Before him crouched a stooped farmer in filthy, tattered clothes. Several small, diagonal cuts marked the farmer's forehead and the skin exposed below his trouser legs.

Crimson blood seeped from the cuts. There was not much of it, but the wounds showed no sign of closing. Soon, half-congealed, dark red blood covered his forehead and legs, and pain showed on his face.
