Jiang Hao sat on his Divine Throne, silently repeating the Lady of Night's final warning. A shadow settled over his heart.
The Lady of Night wouldn't have warned me without reason. She must have sensed that the Lord of Omniscience has made a move against me! Did she leave it unsaid because he would sense it if she spoke plainly? Has his Omniscience reached the point where even a Supreme Divine Power at Divine Rank 19 would be detected for mentioning his honorific title rather than his divine name?
He suddenly recalled the dense, impenetrable darkness that had spread around them when he met the Lady of Night. At first, he had taken it for a strange phenomenon caused by her Divine Power spilling out. Now it seemed she had used that power to shield them from the Lord of Omniscience's Omniscience.
The thought deepened the shadow in Jiang Hao's heart.
Then he considered the Lord of Omniscience's goal.
A Supreme Divine Power like the Lord of Omniscience wouldn't target me for no reason. What does he want? Believers? I barely have any on the Main Plane... Divine Artifacts? Even an ordinary True God might not want the ones I have... The Agriculture Portfolio? Agriculture looks important and is tied to life across the planes, but its potential is limited. Could it be Fate? That's possible. The Fate Portfolio has immense potential. Even among portfolios capable of raising a God to Divine Rank 19, it's exceptionally powerful. Taking it would greatly strengthen him. And Fate could complete Omniscience. After all, Fate could be called Omniscience of the future.
