After the mysterious incident in Milo ended, the internet across Blue Star erupted. Unlike the incidents in the Eastern Isles and Iceland, this time people had watched the entire thing unfold through a livestream. Their sense of involvement was different, and so was their understanding of it.
They discussed the incident relentlessly online. From Twitter to online Game, from MSN to YouTube, wherever there were users, there were people talking about the mysterious incident.
None of that concerned Jiang Hao. He stood on the sea with the Wheel of Fortune and the Eye of Horus in his hands, pouring divine power into both.
The Spinning Wheel began to creak and turn. A single eye drawn in simple gray lines rose from it and slipped into Jiang Hao's left eye, merging with his pupil. A second pupil appeared within his brown one.
He placed a palm over his left eye and gently closed the lid. Behind him, a single eye outlined in fine lines opened in the Void and gazed impassively at the sea before him.
The Eye of Horus has two abilities.
The first is sensing malice. It works much like a True God's "All Words Are Heard." If someone speaks of the Eye of Horus's holder with malicious intent, the Eye senses it and automatically sees and hears the scene where the discussion takes place.
Compared with a god's "All Words Are Heard," which lets them sense the five minutes before and after someone speaks their name, the Eye of Horus's ability is weaker. But it doesn't require anyone to say the holder's name. Any malicious discussion will trigger it.
I don't know whether it can sense malice from a True God, though.
