Background / History

Lin Xiao arrives in Suotuo City shortly before Xiao Wu and Tang San apply to Shrek Academy. After the Goddess Codex binds Xiao Wu, he deliberately approaches her during Tang San’s fight with Dai Mubai at the Rose Hotel. He shields her from Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass, then exaggerates the severity of his injury. Xiao Wu insists that he share their hotel room, allowing him to complete the system’s starter mission 1 2 3.

At Shrek’s entrance test, Lin Xiao is one level below the stated Level 21 requirement. His Spirit Hall Awakening Certificate shows that he awakened only days earlier with Level 20 innate Soul Power, convincing the examiners to let him proceed. He takes command of the applicants during Zhao Wuji’s final test, coordinates their attacks, and forces Zhao Wuji to concede by maneuvering a sword to his throat. The group is admitted to Shrek 5 7 8 9 10.

Later, Lin Xiao defeats Dai Mubai after intervening when Dai threatens Ning Rongrong. He also teaches Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, and Zhu Zhuqing techniques for controlling Soul Power. On a trip toward Suotuo City, Tang Hao confronts him and demands that he stay away from Xiao Wu. Lin Xiao refuses and withstands Tang Hao’s strike with Invincible Golden Body, then extends its barrier over Ning Rongrong and her sect’s Path Guardians 18 19 22 23 24.
