Whenever the Scarlet King visited Shrek Academy, Xuan Zi was usually the one who accompanied him. After enough visits, they had become dining buddies.

Despite how fiercely they were arguing now, they were actually on excellent terms.

"Teacher, Senior Scarlet King, stop arguing for a moment." Gao Ren stepped between them and pointed at the enormous golden cocoon enclosing the Auspicious Beast.

"Senior Scarlet King, do you intend to leave her here with us, or have Di Tian come in person to take her back?"

"With something like bloodline evolution, it's definitely better for us to watch over her ourselves."
