Background / History
Joining Dorm Seven
Xiao Wu enters Dorm Seven at Nuoding Academy and immediately takes an interest in its leadership. Learning that Tang San defeated Wang Sheng but refused to become the dormitory’s boss, she challenges him for the position. Their fight ends without a winner when Tang San stops to prevent further damage to the cramped room 17.
Although initially determined to establish her own rules, Xiao Wu accepts the students’ newly agreed system of collective decision-making and mutual protection. She joins the dormitory on those terms and secures Tang San’s agreement to finish their personal match later, without wagering leadership 17.
Friendship with Tang San
Xiao Wu becomes a close, teasing friend to Tang San. When he questions why his powerful father sent him away to school, she argues that neither father nor son should be an appendage of the other. Her explanation helps him reconsider his resentment and the danger of growing up in Clear Sky Douluo’s shadow 29.
Rumors of Tang Hao’s proposal to Bibi Dong give her further opportunities to tease him. She jokes about his prospective new mother and a hypothetical younger brother named Tang Si; their laughter eventually earns them a reprimand in class 29.
Adoption and Departure
When Tang Hao announces that Tang San will leave Nuoding City, Xiao Wu asks to accompany them. Tang Hao adopts her so that she has a recognized place in the family. She celebrates both gaining a father and being able to remain with Tang San 34.
Xiao Wu formally withdraws from the academy, firmly telling Yu Xiaogang that she will go wherever Tang San goes. The headmaster describes the pair as the academy’s two most outstanding students. Tang Hao plans to let her try living at the Clear Sky Sect and promises to protect her from anyone who makes her uncomfortable 35.
After a three-day visit to Holy Soul Village, she continues traveling with the family. She worries that Bibi Dong might mistreat the children as their stepmother, but Tang Hao reassures her. The group subsequently visits Dugu Bo’s home near the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where she meets Dugu Yan 36.
Appearance
- Childlike appearance: Described as a seemingly adorable little girl, despite Tang Hao’s knowledge of her hundred-thousand-year age 17 34.
- Scorpion-tail braid: Long enough to wrap around Tang San’s wrist during combat 17.
- Martial Soul manifestation: Furry rabbit ears rise from her head as soft red light flows over her body 17.
Personality
Xiao Wu is bold and competitive. She challenges Tang San before hearing his explanation of Dorm Seven’s rules and becomes increasingly excited when he proves a capable opponent. She appreciates that he does not hold back merely because she is young or female 17.
Her competitiveness does not prevent her from accepting a fair arrangement. The promise that Dorm Seven’s students will defend one another satisfies her more than insisting on the boss position 17.
She combines perceptive advice with playful teasing, helping Tang San understand his father’s choices while making jokes about the marriage rumors. Her attachment to him is strong, but her understanding of affection remains childlike: at her adoption, she does not clearly distinguish romance, family affection, and friendship 29 34 35.

- Twists at the waist and wraps her braid around his wrist to pull him off balance.

- Her match with Tang San remains unresolved; neither is established as the winner 17.
Rabbit-Type Martial Soul

Relationships
- Tang San — Dormitory rival turned close friend and adoptive brother. She calls him “Third Brother” and chooses to leave the academy rather than separate from him. Tang Hao’s romantic teasing does not establish them as a couple 17 29 30 34 35.
- Tang Hao — Adoptive father. He welcomes her into the family, takes responsibility for her protection, and affectionately teases her and Tang San 34 35 36.
- Wang Sheng — Dorm Seven schoolmate. His explanation of the dormitory’s mutual-defense rule persuades her to join the new arrangement 17.
- Bibi Dong — Prospective stepmother through Tang Hao’s accepted marriage proposal. Xiao Wu fears possible mistreatment, but no direct meeting between them is documented in the supplied chapters 34 36.
- Dugu Bo — Tang Hao’s friend. He clears his poisonous fog to keep Xiao Wu and Tang San safe during their visit 36.
- Dugu Yan — Newly introduced acquaintance at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well 36.
