Su Qingyuan is the successor of Medicine Immortal Valley. Her father and Ling Yun’s father were old acquaintances, and she and Ling Yun spent time together as children before the Ling Family’s destruction separated them for three years 2.

She reunites with Ling Yun at the Flowing Cloud Sword Sect when he is denied entry after the Spirit Root Testing Stone fails to detect his Chaos Sword Body. Qingyuan uses a Medicine Immortal Valley jade pendant to recommend him personally and accepts responsibility for his future cultivation, securing his chance to take the outer-disciple assessment 2.

During Ling Yun’s early sect life, Qingyuan quietly supplies Qi Gathering Pills, meals, a Spirit Gathering Formation Plate, talismans, spiritual herbs, and information on the Zhao Family.
