• Recorded age discrepancy: The Heavenflame Tiger ring is identified as 1,900 years old when absorbed, but the later enhancement panel lists the Second Soul Skill’s starting age as 1,290 years 6 9.

Background / History

Lu Mingzi brought the deep-blue panel with him when he transmigrated from Earth and named it Deep Blue. His first demonstrated use combines the venom of his existing Mandala Snake ring with a Flame Lion’s fire attribute, strengthening Void Spirit Slash without adding another ring position 1.

He keeps Deep Blue secret from his patrons. When planning six years of independent training near the Star Dou Great Forest, he specifically avoids remaining under Qian Renxue’s protection because it would restrict his opportunities to develop his rings privately 7.

Demonic Thought discovers the system’s existence after witnessing the Third Soul Skill’s Deduction. It recognizes Deep Blue as a key factor in Lu Mingzi’s strength 19.

Appearance

• Appears as a deep-blue panel before Lu Mingzi when invoked aloud or silently 1 2.
• Displays text fields and selectable commands, including Simulate, Predict, Enhance, Upgrade, and Deduction 1 2 5 6 19.
• During some upgrades, the interface shakes, briefly disappears, and returns with updated information 9 18.

Abilities & Skills

Soul Ring Fusion and Prediction

Deep Blue incorporates additional Soul Rings into an existing ring, merging their attributes rather than simply replacing its original effects 1 2.

• In the initial simulation, the strongest contributing ring determines the resulting age; the age determines the attribute level 1.
• Simulation requires Soul Beast blood essence. One collected unit is sufficient for the demonstrated 423-year Mandala Snake prediction 2.
• The panel preserves a list of contributing beasts, allowing a single skill to retain effects from multiple sources 2.
• Absorption is not necessarily instantaneous: the second Mandala Snake fusion takes approximately two hours, during which Lu Mingzi has no guardian 2.

Soul Ring Enhancement

The enhancement function spends stored Soul Blood to increase an existing ring’s age and strengthen its effects 6 9.

• Demonstrated increases include 100 years for the First Soul Ring and 1,000 years for thousand-year rings 6 9 11.
• Costs vary: the first hundred-year increase consumes two units, an early thousand-year increase consumes ten, and the later Third Soul Ring upgrade uses twenty 6 9 18.
• Upgrading ring age does not guarantee a comparable increase in Soul Power. Lu Mingzi notices very little Soul Power growth after enhancing his Second Soul Ring 9.
• His First Soul Ring remains stuck at 999 years without a breakthrough option. Whether Deep Blue can cross that threshold is unresolved in the supplied chapters 11 18.

Deduction

Deduction can add a compatible Soul Beast’s properties to an existing Soul Skill 19.

• The Titan Giant Ape qualifies because its powerful body matches the Third Soul Skill’s physical focus 19.
• Its unclaimed ring breaks into fragments that enter Lu Mingzi’s body during the process 19.
• The added Shockwave effect produces a forceful impact when his blade strikes a target, demonstrated against a five-thousand-year giant bird 19.

Information Display and Skill Naming

• Shows Lu Mingzi’s name, cultivation realm, ring ages, source beasts, skill names, and effect levels 2 4 9.
• Accepts his chosen skill name: after fusion leaves the First Soul Skill unnamed, the panel restores Void Spirit Slash at his request 2.
• Modified skills can appear as unnamed after enhancement or Deduction 9 19.

Resources and Limitations

• Fuel: Soul Blood Units come from swallowed Soul Beast blood essence; the Demonic Angel helps Lu Mingzi absorb this energy 2 5.
• Variable yield: A roughly thousand-year beast ordinarily provides two units; beasts older than five thousand years provide around ten to eighteen. The nine-thousand-year Titan Giant Ape yields more than twenty 19.
• Physical strain: Enhancement can drain Soul Power, cause extreme hunger and weakness, and leave Lu Mingzi unable to stand 6 9.
• Severe injury: Thousand-year upgrades and Deduction can split his skin, cause bleeding, and damage flesh 11 19.
• Fatal risk: The energy released during modification can burst a body too weak to withstand it. Lu Mingzi’s physical development is therefore essential to using Deep Blue safely 9 11.

Relationships

• Lu Mingzi — User and namer. He regards Deep Blue as his greatest reliance but conceals it while developing his rings independently 1 7 11.
• Demonic Thought — A separate being within Lu Mingzi’s Spiritual Sea. It learns about Deep Blue by observing Deduction; its cultivation guidance and control of Demonic Qi are distinct from the system’s functions 17 19.
