The following milestones concern the Demonic Angel’s development and its bearer’s cultivation. Lu Mingzi’s early absorbed Soul Rings are demonstrated with his Demonfire Blade, rather than established as separate Demonic Angel rings 2 5 7.

Background / History

According to Qian Daoliu, the Demonic Angel originated from an evil thought of the Primordial Supreme Angel God. One of Qian Renxue’s ancestors possessed it, but it was believed to have disappeared a thousand years before Lu Mingzi’s awakening. Qian Daoliu recognizes its return immediately and directs Lu Mingzi and Qian Renxue to the records beneath Douluo Hall 3.

Their search yields The Demonic Angel: A Body Without Equal, a mostly blank black book. Its surviving passages describe corruption, devouring, an invincible body, and mental influence through “shadowed light.” It also states that Demonic Thought is born when the demonic body reaches its first stage, while completion makes the bearer a demon. The text mentions a death at a God King’s hands, but provides little explanation 4.

A later predecessor, Song Feng, pursued the Asura God’s inheritance rather than the prescribed Angel God path. His inscription records that Rakshasa corrupted his Demonic Thought and disrupted his divine trial, leading to his defeat by the Azure Divine Dragon. His preserved spirit remains in Demon Valley, where he recognizes Lu Mingzi’s Martial Soul and passes on Divine Yin Power 21 22.

Appearance

• Black feathered wings emerge from the bearer’s back when the Martial Soul manifests 1 3.
• Black markings appear across the bearer’s skin, accompanied by thick demonic energy 3.
• As Lu Mingzi develops, the markings spread from his arms and abdomen across most of his torso, reaching toward his jaw 22.
