• Shinji adjourned the meeting and ordered everyone to head to the front lines to fight.
• Hyuga Hiashi asked Shinji why Shimura Danzō was still alive, and Shinji said keeping him conscious in a deathlike state was a worse punishment than death.

Shinji Uchiha entered Kirigakure's camp and made a deal with Mei Terumi to kill Karatachi Yagura in exchange for her becoming Mizukage. He vanished with the sick Yūyuri to seek a cure, leaving Zabuza stunned by the bargain.

• Shinji stopped Zabuza from attacking him, overpowered him, and warned the camp's fighters not to interfere.
• Mei sent Ao and Mangetsu out and agreed to Shinji's terms, promising to withdraw Kirigakure's troops after he killed Karatachi Yagura.
• Mei asked Shinji to save the sick Yūyuri, and he teleported away with her using the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Big Brother Shinji brought Yūyuri to Orochimaru’s Laboratory for treatment and confronted Orochimaru about his hidden experiments and new power. After discovering Orochimaru had used Living Corpse Reincarnation, Shinji declared that Orochimaru would never learn Senjutsu on his own and challenged his confidence in defeating him.

• Big Brother Shinji left Yūyuri with Orochimaru and Guren, then went outside the Laboratory and easily defeated Kabuto Yakushi when he attacked.
• Orochimaru apologized for Kabuto and Shinji revealed that Root members, including Aburame Ryoma, had joined him before he founded Reed Hideout.
• Orochimaru realized Shinji had come to have Yūyuri treated and agreed to let him see Hiruko, who was working elsewhere in the mountain.
• Shinji sensed Natural Energy inside the mountain and accused Orochimaru of gaining an extraordinary power after Orochimaru stepped back from him.
• Shinji asked how many times Orochimaru had used Living Corpse Reincarnation, and Orochimaru admitted he had tried it once in an unsuccessful experiment.
• Shinji told Orochimaru he would never learn Senjutsu on his own and asked whether he thought mastering it would let him win.

Shinji warned Orochimaru that his treatment of his subordinates could backfire, ordered him to keep Yuguri alive, and visited Hiruko’s laboratory to direct his research. The chapter ended with Orochimaru telling Kabuto to address Shinji as Lord Shinji and treat him with the same respect as Orochimaru.

Shinji left Yūyuri in Orochimaru’s care and recruited Zabuza and Mangetsu to help restore the Mist Village, with Mei approving their plan. After arriving in the village, Shinji sent Mangetsu to fetch Suigetsu and headed toward the Mizukage Building, while a passerby named Kishōmaru realized Shinji might really kill the Mizukage and rushed to warn the children.

• Orochimaru told Kabuto that Senjutsu mattered little beside his pursuit of eternal life and the world’s secrets, and reflected that Shinji’s partnership offer was unequal.
• Mei learned Shinji had taken Yūyuri to Orochimaru, became furious, and discovered that Tsunade was away on the front lines.
• Zabuza and Mangetsu agreed to help Shinji restore the village, and Mei told them she would not restrict their freedom if they succeeded.
• Shinji arrived in the Mist Village with Zabuza and Mangetsu, then sent Mangetsu to bring his younger brother Suigetsu along.

Kimimaro left the Mu Hikari Dungeon after the Kaguya Clan sent him to kill Kirigakure ninja. Shinji found Karatachi Yagura and attacked, probing whether a Genjutsu controlled the Mizukage, before striking him with a massive azure sphere.

• Kimimaro carved a face into the Dungeon wall until a man summoned him and ordered him to kill every Kirigakure Ninja he encountered.
• Kimimaro accepted the order and walked toward the Dungeon entrance, eager to leave his confinement.
• Shinji located Karatachi Yagura in an office and attacked him after asking to talk.
• Karatachi Yagura fought back with a staff and Hidden Mist Technique, while Shinji questioned whether a Genjutsu was controlling him.
• Shinji used his Sharingan and Body Flicker Technique to appear behind Karatachi Yagura, then drove a massive azure sphere toward his back.

Shinji drew Karatachi Yagura out of Kirigakure and forced his Tailed Beast transformation, then revealed his own Nine-Tails Chakra form. Zabuza, Haku, Hozuki Mangetsu, and Hozuki Suigetsu arrived just in time to witness Shinji appear to become the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki.

• Karatachi Yagura used the Water Mirror Technique to counter Shinji's Rasengan, but Shinji grabbed him and transported them to a street in Kirigakure.
• Shinji put Yagura under his Sharingan's Genjutsu, triggering a violent Tailed Beast transformation as Kirigakure ANBU rushed toward them.
• Utakata sensed another Tailed Beast nearby, but Harusame lured him into a cave, where four Kirigakure Ninja bound and sealed him.
• Shinji carried the transformed Yagura far from Kirigakure, where Isobu began forming a Tailed Beast Bomb.
• Shinji activated his complete Nine-Tails Chakra and released Little Nine-Tails, whose giant pale-gold form rose before Isobu.

Shinji Uchiha defeated Isobu with Little Nine-Tails, tracked him down after he fled, and broke the Sharingan genjutsu controlling Karatachi Yagura. Yagura thanked Shinji and agreed to talk about Kirigakure’s future.

• Hozuki Suigetsu, Hozuki Mangetsu, Haku, and Zabuza Momochi watched Little Nine-Tails overpower Isobu and blast away Kirigakure’s mist with a Tailed Beast Bomb.
• Shinji used Little Nine-Tails to create a Tailed Beast Bomb Rasenshuriken, but Isobu fled before it struck.
• Shinji pursued Isobu through the forest, stopped his rolling charge with Susanoo, and used his Sharingan to free Karatachi Yagura from the genjutsu.
• Karatachi Yagura thanked Shinji, and the two agreed to talk.

Shinji helped Yagura break free of Obito’s Genjutsu, but Yagura still chose death over immediate revenge and entrusted Kirigakure’s future to Mei Terumi and Zabuza. Shinji rushed toward an explosion as Utakata woke to find Harusame extracting Saiken from him.

• Shinji controlled and drained Isobu, then asked Yagura to explain himself before Zabuza and the others arrived.
• Yagura admitted he had failed as Mizukage by falling under Genjutsu and asked Zabuza and Shinji to help Kirigakure recover under Mei Terumi.
• Shinji promised to spare Kirigakure and offered Yagura the choice of dying or waiting to take revenge, but Yagura said he would rather die.
• An explosion revealed that Saiken was nearby, and Shinji left the choice of Yagura’s fate to Zabuza and the other Kirigakure Ninja.
• Utakata woke chained in a cave as Harusame extracted Saiken, and the Six-Tails’ bubbles began spreading and growing.

Shinji restrained Utakata’s Six-Tails transformation and tried to save the mortally wounded Harusame, whose injuries remained fatal. Before dying, Harusame apologized to Utakata and asked him to leave Kirigakure and do good deeds; Utakata promised.

• Utakata completed his Six-Tails transformation, killing Kirigakure ninja and impaling Harusame with a tail.
• Shinji arrived and bound Six-Tails with ten Adamantine Sealing Chains.
• Shinji used the Mystical Palm Technique to heal Harusame, but could not close his enormous wound.
• Harusame admitted he had decided Utakata’s fate for him and apologized for trying to extract the Tailed Beast.

Shinji rescued Utakata after he realized he had killed his caring teacher, then learned that the Kaguya Clan was attacking Kirigakure. He arrived with Karatachi Yagura, Zabuza Momochi, and Hozuki Mangetsu to find Kimimaro standing over his dead clansmen and surrounded by Kirigakure Ninja.

• Utakata collapsed in grief after understanding that he had killed his teacher, and Shinji carried him away as the system rewarded Shinji for redeeming Karatachi Yagura.
• Shinji returned to Karatachi Yagura and found him sharing a quiet meal with Zabuza Momochi and Hozuki Mangetsu, then learned that the Kaguya Clan might be attacking Kirigakure.
• Shinji asked where the Kaguya Clan was and set out with the Kirigakure group to investigate.
• Kimimaro stood atop a heap of dead Kaguya clansmen while Kirigakure Ninja surrounded him, and Genji urged him to abandon the clan and join the village.

Shinji appeared in Kirigakure, killed Genji, and offered to take the lost Kimimaro away to begin a new life. Kimimaro agreed to follow him, while Mangetsu, Suigetsu, Yagura, and Zabuza wondered whether Shinji meant to shape the boy into a weapon.

• Shinji disguised himself in a Haku robe and appeared behind Kimimaro, blocking the boy’s bone sword with Susanoo.
• Shinji told Kimimaro he had come to save him and offered him a life beyond being a weapon.
• Shinji killed Genji with a water blade, causing the Kirigakure ninja to flee in panic.
• Shinji told Kimimaro that Genji’s instructions led to a dead end, and Kimimaro agreed to leave with him.
• Mangetsu, Suigetsu, Yagura, and Zabuza watched Shinji and speculated that he might be deliberately shaping Kimimaro into a weapon.

Shinji continued his work in Kirigakure while Obito learned that Shinji could transform into the Nine-Tails and use Adamantine Sealing Chains. On the Land of Fire’s Eastern Battlefield, Uchiha Fugaku and Hyuga Hiashi realized Shinji was behind the commotion in the Kirigakure camp and waited for him to visit.

• Shinji asked Karatachi Yagura about the Jashin Cult, then set out with Kimimaro, Haku, and Suigetsu to meet Mei Terumi.
• White Zetsu told Obito that Shinji had broken the Genjutsu on Karatachi Yagura and Isobu and could fully transform into the Nine-Tails.
• Obito seized White Zetsu and demanded details, then ordered him to carry out the plan as decided.
• Hyuga Hiashi spotted Shinji in the Kirigakure camp and told Uchiha Fugaku that Shinji was likely responsible for the commotion.

Shinji planned with Mei Terumi to stage a victory that would secure her authority in Kirigakure, then went to the Konoha camp, where Uchiha Fugaku and Hyuga Hiashi discussed their families and Shinji's plans. The chapter ended with Shinji complaining about Mei as the two commanders looked on in bewilderment.

• Shinji told Fugaku and Hiashi that Fugaku would have to appear to die, then discussed the next step of the plan.
• Shinji and Kika waited in the forest as Mei Terumi led Kirigakure ninja toward Fugaku and the Sarutobi fighters.
• Mei spread Hidden Mist across the battlefield while Fugaku and Ao exchanged attacks, and Mei rescued Ao from Fugaku’s returning shuriken.

Orochimaru summoned Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju with Impure World Reincarnation to surprise Shinji Uchiha. The brothers recognized Shinji’s resemblance to Uchiha Izuna, and Tobirama turned his attention to questioning Orochimaru.
