"Hey, Akali, who upset you?" Xu Yi asked at once.
Akali looked up, saw Xu Yi, and gave a cold snort. "Who else but that bastard Xiuqi!"
"What did Xiuqi do?" Xu Yi asked, puzzled.
Although Xiuqi had always been rather cold toward Xu Yi, even somewhat hostile, he behaved perfectly normally around everyone else and was quite a gentleman toward the girls. How had he suddenly managed to infuriate even the usually easygoing Akali?
"He's so full of himself! I told him not to mix wind crystal grass juice into the Sunfire Array because the conflicting attributes would definitely cause problems, but he wouldn't listen. He insisted on adding it to see what would happen. Well, he found out! The array exploded the moment he activated it!" Akali said bitterly.
Xu Yi was alarmed. "Was anyone hurt?"
"No." Akali shook her head. "Everyone reacted quickly and protected themselves with Protective Shields in time, so nothing happened to us. But the explosion left the laboratory in a complete mess. I said it was Xiuqi's fault and told him to clean it up himself, but he actually had the nerve to argue with me, saying the laboratory belonged to everyone! Hmph! I'm furious!"
Relieved that no one had been injured, Xu Yi smiled. "He was right about that. The laboratory belongs to everyone, and accidents during experiments are normal. You can all clean it up together."
Akali glared at him. "Mr. President, are you saying he did nothing wrong?"
