What followed was a tidal wave of knowledge about Apparition.

Apparition was generally used for long-distance travel, because it required one to spin while concentrating. If one panicked or became distracted, it could easily cause different parts of the body to end up in different places during Apparition.

In the original story, after Harry Potter, Hermione, and Ron stole Hufflepuff's Cup from Gringotts, Ron suffered Splinching during Apparition.

Fortunately, it had not been serious that time, and Essence of Dittany was enough to heal the wound.

But severe Splinching could even result in something like being torn apart by horses!

Even Apparition outside of combat carried such risks, let alone using Apparition in battle.

"Furthermore, because Flash Spell also utilizes Goblin passages, an incantation must be set to simulate Goblin magic and obtain passage authorization."

"Detected that the host previously set Killing Curse as the incantation. Continue using this incantation?"

Charle took a deep breath, a thoughtful look appearing in his eyes.

He had set Killing Curse as the activation incantation for his previous Apparition because using Long-Range Apparition meant Charle could not win and was preparing to flee.

Naturally, before fleeing, he needed to make the enemy wary and put them on guard, preventing them from immediately giving chase.

But Flash Spell was meant for combat. If Charle said Killing Curse before activating Flash Spell, wouldn't the enemy's tension shoot straight through the roof?

Now he understood another reason why Dumbledore, Voldemort, Grindelwald, and the others did not wildly Apparate in combat. The reaction was five or six times stronger than Long-Range Apparition. Even an iron stomach could not withstand it!

Surely they did not want to vomit their guts out in the middle of battle and let the enemy see exactly what they had eaten that day!
