Some of this book's lore differs from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. For instance, in the original, Momoshiki confirmed that Shi Mei had discarded his physical body and left the current dimension, while in this book, he faked his death and attacked the Shinobi World's Planet.
Ryūshiki never officially appeared in the original. Kaguya's God Tree Fruit was produced after the Ten-Tails Juvenile ate half of Isshiki, whereas in this book, it ate Ryūshiki.
These changes simply serve the plot, so readers needn't take them too seriously. Besides, this book is nearing its end.
