All three were eager for the day's mission. More than half a year had passed since they graduated, yet they had done nothing but D-rank missions. Some were jobs they had repeated several times, such as catching that orange cat, which had escaped again and again only to be brought back by the three of them.
Eventually, Qingyun wasn't sure whether he was imagining it, but the orange cat seemed to look at them with deep resentment.
Today, they could finally take on a higher-ranked mission and leave the village to see the sights outside. Of the three, only Kushina had come from outside the village. Neither Qingyun nor Minato Namikaze had ever left Konoha, so they were naturally curious about the world beyond it.
