Dai Mubai has a Star Luo royal-family background and is engaged to Zhu Zhuqing. His older brother is six years his senior and regarded as the near-certain heir, leaving Dai as a backup in the family struggle. Dai later admits that he fled and fell into degeneracy because he believed hard work could not change that situation. 79 233

At Shrek Academy, he serves as the captain of the Shrek Seven Devils. His relationship with Zhu Zhuqing deteriorates after she learns of his visits to brothels and rejects his attempts to control whom she partners with in spirit combat. 79

Personality

Dai Mubai is prideful, impulsive, and highly sensitive to humiliation. After being defeated alongside Ma Hongjun, he immediately seeks revenge against Cheng Xiao despite Oscar's warning that the opponent is too strong. He lashes out at Oscar for trying to stop him and continues fighting until Cheng Xiao breaks his wrist and defeats him. 72 73

He is possessive toward Zhu Zhuqing and abusive toward teammates during conflicts. He tries to dictate Zhuqing's partner in two-on-two combat, insults Oscar, and treats Zhuqing as someone he is entitled to control. 79 Later, resentment over Zhuqing's rejection and Ning Rongrong's mockery drives him and Ma Hongjun to lure Ning Rongrong away with the intent to assault her; he also forcibly restrains Zhuqing when she intervenes. 107 108
