Background

Tang San carries memories and techniques from the Tang Sect of another world; he regards himself as a Tang Sect member in life and death and intends to restore its glory in Douluo Continent. His desire to conceal this origin nearly leads him to murder Yu Xiaogang and Dean Mano after they witness his unfamiliar techniques during the Mandala Snake hunt. Master’s genuine concern causes him to abandon the attempt. 12 13 20

He becomes Yu Xiaogang’s disciple and accepts the Mandala Snake Soul Ring despite his doubts about pairing an animal Soul Beast with Blue Silver Grass. The absorption grants his Martial Soul binding and venomous traits, reinforcing his trust in Master’s theories. 13 23
