Zhang Yuan survived the Great Heng Emperor’s possession attempt, entered the Lost Grotto-Heaven, and broke through to late Celestial Person while searching for the God-Calming Jade Seal. He and Wangyou True Person learned the seal was near the Immortal Ascension Terrace, while Xiao Yuanjun claimed gui water for Zhang Yuan and the cultivators began competing to reach the terrace.

• The First God Cult Master named Zhang Yuan the true Holy Son and brought him to the Imperial City, where the Great Heng Emperor seized divine power before detonating his Dharma Body and destroying much of the city.
• Zhang Yuan let the Great Heng Emperor into his sea of consciousness, where Chi Guanguan killed him and imprisoned the remaining divine power, then Zhang Yuan pretended to have suppressed the Emperor to survive the Great Heng Empress’s demands.
• The Great Heng Empress forced Zhang Yuan to attend court and ordered him to enter the Primordial Era grotto-heaven with Tan Chengcheng to find the God-Calming Jade Seal.
• Zhang Yuan entered the Lost Grotto-Heaven, exchanged xin metal with Qin Tianyi for gui water, then refined it in seclusion and broke through to late Celestial Person with Malice Growth.
• After killing an ambusher, Zhang Yuan disguised himself as a Daoist and joined Wangyou True Person on the way to Spirit-True Mountain, where they entered its formation and took a Pre-Heaven Spirit Treasure furnace from Lu Danyan.
• Zhang Yuan and Wangyou True Person trapped Jade Spirit, learned that Wonderous Dharma Adept’s disciples had taken the God-Calming Jade Seal near the Immortal Ascension Terrace, and plundered Spirit-True Mountain before escaping.
• Xiao Yuanjun refined the solar true qi and claimed gui water for Zhang Yuan, while Zhang Yuan and Wangyou True Person headed toward the garden near the Immortal Ascension Terrace as cultivators prepared to race for it.

Zhang Yuan confronted Wonderous Dharma Adept while Xiao Yuanjun seized the Immortal Ascension Terrace and proved the Great Beginning String Dao, forcing the True Lords to acknowledge her. After Xiao Yuanjun departed to confront Li Huixi, Zhang Yuan returned to Great Heng and prepared to attend court as Tan Chengcheng’s Imperial Father.

• Zhang Yuan exposed himself to Deng Huachen and killed him, then fought Deng Qiuzhi, Wenren Shangzhi, and their allies as Wonderous Dharma Adept attacked the gathered cultivators.
• The Great Heng Empress helped Xiao Yuanjun take the Immortal Ascension Terrace, while the Lords of Heaven and Earth destroyed Wonderous Dharma Adept’s manifestation.
• Xiao Yuanjun refined the Great Yin Spirit Qi and the Ancient Bright Yang conceptual image, reached celestial person perfection, and became an Immortal Lord.
• Xiao Yuanjun sought the Great Beginning String, attained its Golden Position, and became a True Lord, then defeated the attempts by True Lord Imperial Balance Myriad Turns and others to stop her.
• Xiao Yuanjun made three True Lords die and return to life, then left for Sun-Moon Cliff after secretly kissing Zhang Yuan and telling him to cultivate diligently.
• Chi Guanguan showed Zhang Yuan Xiao Yuanjun’s gift, and the Primordial One Qi granted Ao Xiu a Divine Ability before guiding Zhang Yuan through forty-nine days of Dao comprehension.
• Xiao Yuanjun and Li Huixi clashed in the Azure Firmament Dust-Dyed Realm, while Zhang Yuan used their karmic connection to aid Li Huixi before the damaged realm was restored.
• Tan Chengcheng told Zhang Yuan that rumors claimed the emperor was dead, then dressed him in imperial robes and took him to the Golden Throne Hall to impersonate her Imperial Father.

Zhang Yuan pursued Wenren Changguang, entered an ancient True Dragon Palace, and uncovered clues to a First God Cult ritual. He arrived as the First God’s body was revived, helped the Heavenly Army Night-Cutting Goddess split the giant, and fled when First God began recovering.

• Zhang Yuan declared himself emperor before the court, then faced Wenren Shangzhi, Deng Qiuzhi, and Lu Danyan until the First God Cult Master carried him away.
• Wenren Shangzhi pursued Zhang Yuan through the Great Void, where Zhang revealed his identity and fought him using Xiao Yuanjun’s Dharma Form and several mystic abilities.
• Zhang Yuan, Wenren Shangzhi, and Qin Tianyi reached an ancient South Sea True Dragon Palace, where they subdued its restrictions and entered with Tan Yaozheng.
• The crimson dragon corpse revealed itself as Wenren Changguang, who escaped with a Jade Slip before Zhang Yuan and the others chased him toward Heaven-Reaching City.
• Celestial Persons and First God Cult members killed Wenren Changguang, while a Ghost Deity seized his soul, and Zhang Yuan took a Jade Slip from the corpse and learned it contained building-refinement scripture.
• Tan Yaozheng revealed that the Great Heng Founder’s consciousness had awakened within her, then accompanied Zhang Yuan and Tan Chengcheng to the First God Cult’s ritual.
• The First God Cult Master used Wenren Changguang’s remains and the Great Heng Founder’s divine power to restore First God’s giant body, and Zhang Yuan summoned the Heavenly Army Night-Cutting Goddess to split it with the Heng Emperor Founder Sword.
• First God began knitting himself back together and called Zhang Yuan Ji Guang, so Zhang Yuan fled to Tan Chengcheng and Tan Yaozheng as two Great Void Passages opened and more body parts arrived.

Zhang Yuan helped bring down the First God’s incarnation, then left Heaven-Reaching City with Chi Guanguan and Ao Xiu to travel toward the East Sea. At Azure Talisman Grotto-Heaven, he infiltrated the First God Cult, recruited Qin Tianyi, and boarded a ship bound for the Mysterious Court.

• The First God rose as the [Demon-Summoning Response Incarnation], and Zhang Yuan fled with Tan Chengcheng to Heaven-Reaching City as it devoured everything in its path.
• The incarnation broke through the city’s defenses, so Ye Xiangning helped Tan Chengcheng receive the Divine Power needed to summon the Great Heng Founder’s manifestation, which crushed the monster.
• Zhang Yuan traced [True Lord Ceased Light Punishes Thoughts] to the East Sea, while Chen Xinqiao, [Heavenly Army Night-Cutting Goddess], [Mirror-Holding Armored Lord, Divine Master], and Tan Chengcheng attacked Ye Xiangning’s [Candlelit Flamebright Pavilion].
• After Xiao Yuanjun and Li Huixi visited the Ancient Great Luo beyond the River of Time, Zhang Yuan prepared to leave Heaven-Reaching City with Ao Xiu and departed with Chi Guanguan for the East Sea.
• At Azure Talisman Grotto-Heaven, Tong Ke vouched for Zhang Yuan and arranged passage on a ship to the Mysterious Court, while Shangxian True Person and Baihui True Person agreed to let him board.
• Zhang Yuan infiltrated the First God Cult as its Holy Son, convinced Yu Lian of his identity, and recruited Qin Tianyi as one of the Four Divine Generals.
• Yu Lian told Zhang Yuan that the cult had received an oracle to travel to the Mysterious Court and resurrect the First God, so Zhang Yuan arranged for the cultists to sneak aboard his ship.
• Tong Ke and Huang Yingquan waited for Zhang Yuan aboard the Azure Spirit Ship, and Zhang Yuan arrived at the coast and asked when it would set sail.
