Wen Ning obtained the Imperial Seal of China from Qin Shi Huang, helped Zhou Wan survive through Mimi’s sacrifice, and defeated Golden Toad after it preyed on a village’s greed. The arc ended with Zhang Siyu deciding to return to Dragon-Tiger Mountain to grow strong enough to stand beside Wen Ning.

• Wen Ning met Qin Shi Huang at Mount Li, received the Imperial Seal of China and the promise of Human Dao Fortune, then told Tu Shan Qingqing that Qin Shi Huang had broken his promise to her.
• Wen Ning brought Feng Dema back to the Misfortune Department, and the Imperial Seal transformed the Jade Emperor’s Golden Register before becoming an ordinary jade seal.
• Wen Ning learned that Zhou Wan had only months to live, and Mimi offered her own life in a life exchange that cured Zhou Wan and killed Mimi.
• Wen Ning told Zhou Wan that Mimi had sacrificed herself, and Judge Lu later said Mimi had earned rebirth as Zhou Wan’s child.

After returning to the shop, Wen Ning welcomed Feng Dema, celebrated Gong Kai and Hu Jiumei’s wedding, and agreed to help Zhou Guangfu find the man who once fed him.

• Wen Ning and Lu Ming infiltrated Golden Turtle’s group, learned Master Jin was searching for his former master Shen Tengteng, and helped him discover that Shen had reincarnated as Zhao Ping'an.
• Master Jin disbanded the Black Sèhuì and returned to the Heavenly Court with Wen Ning, where Wen Zhong welcomed him back as Jin Big Tooth.
• Old Mr. Gu asked Wen Ning to protect Gu Jianjun’s inheritance, so Wen Ning stopped Gu Jianguo and Gu Jianming from attacking their brother and brought the matter before Judge Lu.
• Judge Lu ruled that the estate belonged to Gu Jianjun, punished the unfilial brothers, and sent Uncle Gu on to the Bridge of Helplessness.
• Feng Dema arrived at Wen Ning’s shop after being reassigned, while Gong Kai announced his plans to marry Hu Jiumei and later exchanged vows with her at their wedding.
• Wen Ning invited the dying beggar Zhou Guangfu into the shop, and Zhou asked him to find Liu Dazhu so he could repay the money for noodles Liu had once given him.

Wen Ning helped Zhou Guangfu reunite with Liu Nian before his death, then freed Fang Qingqin from a temple vow tied to her birth father and the Five-Power God. As Feng Dema grew closer to Fang Qingqin and Wen Ning advanced in cultivation, the group stopped Lin Feng from abducting a girl and went to the police station to give statements.
